Because neither Kline Tools nor Amazon provide a lot of information about this product, I decided to purchase it based on Kline Tools' reputation. The lase is of good quality and comes packaged in a protective plastic box. It's mounted on a bracket that allows it to be attached to a tripod with a larger hole or a camera style tripod. On the back, there is a magnetic attachment. The laser unit swivels in its mounting, allowing you to rotate it nearly 360 degrees. It's a laser that adjusts itself to any surface. You can turn on either the vertical or horizontal beams, or both at the same time. At a distance of 10m / 33 feet, the vertical line is 1mm thick and the horizontal is 2mm thick. br>The horizontal beam is large enough to cover a large room (more than 10m).
This item is incorrectly demonstrated in the video. It claims to have plumb spots, but it doesn't have any. Very deceiving. I'll have to go back and get the second one. To avoid any confusion, the video should be taken out of the listing.
I'm giving the product a one-star rating because the information on the page/in the pictures is incorrect. The plumb dot laser is not included in this item. It's just a laser that creates a cross line. I need to return what I bought and get what I really wanted.
If you want to use it outside, it's best used indoors or at night. br>In my opinion, it is not worth the money. I only gave it three stars because it can be used inside.
My husband enjoys it, but it quickly depletes the batteries. Otherwise, it's excellent, so that's the only reason he didn't give it five stars.
