Selected User Reviews For Klein Tools 93LCLG Cross-Line Laser Level, Self Leveling Green Laser with Red Plumb Spot with Magnetic Mounting
Strong magnets are hard to find. It is difficult to see the green light from the laser. There is still no comparison to the green laser level from Dewalt.
In the end, I decided on the Klein because it was more expensive, but after reading numerous reviews, it was the better option. The reason I went with a Klein was due to the poor reviews for the Huepar units regarding the unit's efficiency. Several users complained about these reviews and how to even turn off the device. People were not happy with the magnets on the Klein. There were only a few complaints. As far as I can tell, the magnets are working well. Klein's reputable brand and its easy-to-use level are appealing to me. The lights are bright, the plum dots are a useful feature, and the pendulum lock is secure. The price was competitive for a laser level with its features as well. It would have been nice to have been able to lock the laser pendulum and tilt the unit to use it on an angle, but that was the only option I would have preferred. I don't think it's that big of a It is recommended that you use Klein Tools 93LCLG Cross-cutting Tool It is a laser level on a line.
After batteries were installed, the device would not turn on. There was a bit of a mess with the battery cover door because they had to be rotated. After a few attempts, I got it to light up, although I had to be careful not to bump anything while taking the picture. There was a hard time seeing the green beam when it worked. It was very hard to see the laser outside, even on a cloudy day. It was also almost impossible to see only a couple of As a Klein tool user, I hoped for more.
With AA batteries, the devices come with a lock, a green line laser, and a plumb dot laser. The intensity of its beam is equivalent to a line laser from Dewalt. As a result, the other reviews claiming it has a weak laser aren't accurate. I haven't tested the battery life, but of course a packed of AAs is dirt cheap, so it's not a problem. What is true is that it feels less weighty and sturdy than the Dewalt. The biggest disadvantage is that the magnets are only about 1/2 as powerful as the Dewalt. I feel uncomfortable using this device because I know that it might fall Weak magnets are responsible for this. The tool is amazing and loaded with features, however the magnets aren't very durable and the tool is not very strong.
Would not recommend. This laser is great, and it has a lot of light. It's a very good device for the price, but I am very disappointed in the battery life. I have to buy brand new batteries In spite of the fact that I store it correctly, the batteries seem to drain very quickly. The only way to avoid this is to remove the batteries. The battery is still not working despite having all the name brands of batteries in it. Putting my money where my mouth is, I'd send it back.
This level is great for hanging ductwork. I use it to set my hangers for the I like using the measure on the ground to measure the hangers instead of using the tape measure.
It is impossible to see the laser line directly in the sun. When the lines are ten feet high, I can't see them even in the shade or in a building. Since mine is honestly useless for what I need, I will be returning it. My mistake was not to buy a quality laser rather than a 200-hundred dollar one. If you can afford a better laser, I recommend making the investment.
Measurements taken on the floor are perfectly transferred to the ceiling using a laser. This program makes layouts fast and easy with the vertical and horizontal planes. While I have not used the magnetic feature yet, I have noticed that As a result of the lock feature, the original factory calibration lasts for many years. If I had to buy it again, I would.
