It will project that far as long as you leave enough space between it and the wall.
This is a tool I've used in the past. Its beam isn't very bright, so I had to take special measures to use it in most normal outdoor lighting conditions, such as rotating the head and referencing the horizontal beam's center line point for height. I didn't make an attempt to use the vertical planes. The horizontal and vertical plans were projected under cloudy conditions. It is difficult to use outdoors in direct sunlight.

I'm blown away by the unit's clever design and sturdy construction. This laser level is ideal for my needs, and I would give it a five-star rating. Here are my thoughts on the subject: br>The Advantage: br>1. It displays a horizontal line and four vertical lines. It projects a line for laying tile at the floor level, as well as on vertical walls and across the ceiling, giving you a 2x360° line from floor to ceiling. br>2, It included a rechargeable lithium battery, which is a fantastic feature. Most of the laser levels I found on Amazon did not come with batteries, but with this one, I never have to worry about running out of AA batteries or replacing them when they die. br>3, Lasers are extremely bright, even more so than they appear in photographs. br>4, whereas the last one I bought came in a plastic case, this one came in a carry bag. The bag is my preferred option because the thicker foam filler protects the unit better. With the bag, the entire set becomes lighter as well. br>5, and most importantly, the cost is reasonable. This unit offers excellent value for money. br>The Negative: br>1, I believe it would be better if you used a tripod. I have a tripod, but it has a 1/4-inch mount, so I'll need to get an adapter to convert it to 5/8-inch if I want to use it with the unit. The seller informed me that they have a 5/8 tripod that will be available on Amazon soon, and I intend to purchase one. br>2, The laser level's included goggles appear to be a little flimsy. It's not a big deal because I don't wear them very often. The best way to protect your eyes from lasers is to avoid looking directly into the laser window. br>3,While red lasers are useful, if I need to work outside, I would invest in a green laser level. In comparison to red laser, green laser is superior. br>To sum it up: It's a good laser level, and it's better than the others I bought. I've already used it on a home project, and it aided me in the installation of flooring, tiling, ceilings, and molding. I can find my levels wherever I need them. "It saved my energy," as the saying goes. Good product; I would recommend it!.
This product is inexpensive, but it works just as well as my contractor friend's name-brand version. br>br>Having said that, I've needed this for a variety of construction reasons, the most recent of which prompted me to purchase this was when I was planning where to install can lights in a remodel. Because measuring off the walls was difficult due to varying depths and other factors, I used this product to quickly and easily figure out where to cut all of the holes by making precise marks. br>br>The red (I chose red because I planned to use it mostly indoors) is bright and easy to see on the ceilings from 20 feet away. It comes with a nice padded carrying pouch, which is useful because I usually travel with tools, and some of them need to be protected from other tools in my bag. In any case, I strongly suggest it.

This unit's best feature is that it projects two continuous 360° vertical lines, which makes ceiling work much easier. It's an excellent laser level that performs far better than I had anticipated. It's fantastic for a variety of purposes. With a foam-filled carrying bag, everything is well-packaged. I bought this laser tool to level my kitchen cabinets, but now I'm using it to make sure my recessed light holes are aligned, as well as to build shelves in my garage. br>This is an unexpectedly useful tool for me. I used it both inside and outside, and the brightness was ideal for drawing reference lines on the drywall and leveling all of the railing. It performed admirably and is strongly recommended.
It's a lot better than the more expensive Bame brand. Only con: They should include an adaptor to allow it to be used with a standard camera tripod. I had to purchase one separately, but it works great and is a fantastic price.

This tool came with a nice pouch bag and a pair of red goggles for eye protection, which was crucial for my first time setting up because the laser could accidentally shoot my eye once I turned it on. In the daytime, the laser light is bright and sharp, and this 5v adapter is a great design that allows me to keep the power on for 8 hours. br>For this money, I believe it pays off when I save time and get the job done right.
The self- For my vertical alignment project, where I needed to maintain a vertical center point to cut multiple surfaces for installing 8" diameter galvanized duct work from the kitchen to the roof sheathing, the leveling laser worked perfectly. The batteries are quickly depleted when the level is left on for an extended period of time, but all is well once you plug in the AC power adapter. The laser light projection from the device's bottom to center it over your fixed starting point was one of my favorite features. With the padded carry bag, this is a nice little kit. For the do-it-yourselfers out there, this book is a must-read. A professional installer may require a more rugged unit, but this will cost several times as much.
