Questions & Answers
Any laser should be able to use it. As a target, it's quite small.
This is a laser projector target card. A laser beam is reflected by it.
Thank you for your inquiry. The magnets on the base of the Firecore Laser Target Card are in the shape of an "L." It can stand on smooth surfaces, be used on metal surfaces, or be hung by the slots on nails or screws. The purpose of using green is to be able to see the beam outside (or so I was led to believe). After a few feet, it's still difficult to see, so why do these reflectors exist? Mine and my $400 green laser didn't work. Because none of these vendors provide a working distance, you have no idea what to expect; I had hoped for more. You're better off using a white sheet of paper, a white tape measure, or? after about 20 feet. I tried a Milwaukee for twice the price, but it didn't perform any better. I returned that one, but I'm keeping this one to serve as a reminder not to try any of these again. To sum up, I believe that Active reflectors that emit a sound are required instead of passive reflectors.
It does what it's supposed to do, but don't expect any visual miracles. It only increases beam visibility by something like 50% if you're working in bright light. In other words, if you can't see your beam with your naked eye, it'll be difficult to see with this at best- but the low cost makes it worthwhile to have when other options (like shading the area the beam strikes/reducing distance) are difficult to achieve or unavailable. With your laser, it's simple to store.
The mirror isn't particularly reflective (yes, the protective film was removed). However, because the LASER is dispersed and not perfectly flat, it becomes more inaccurate as distance increases.
Reading a green laser is not made any easier by the target card. The back magnets are ineffective, and the reflective area in the center is useless. With a green laser, all you need is a measuring tape to get the job done.
It's fantastic.
Work.
My guys can't seem to keep it together. The product is effective.
