Questions & Answers
I appreciate the question you asked. A leveling plate is included with the Bosch GTL3 to make it possible to position the measuring tool flat on uneven ground. Additionally, the leveling plate can serve as a mounting bracket for the measuring tool, and a level is used to fix the flat surface of the plate. Please feel free to reach out to Bosch Customer Service at +1 866 444-4439, if you have further questions. The Bosch Group This is "2499).
The box and laser are just what I have seen. My apologies, both references are to China. A great tool that never ceases to amaze me!

This projector can project a line with an approximate diameter of 4 inches. In the center of the wall, 34" from the left and parallel to the right. On the other hand, 45 & 45 Aim for the wall with the lines. Due to this, the squaring function can only be used when projecting a straight line, not when squaring an angle.

It didn't disappoint. Since I already had a few Bosch laser measurement tools that I've used successfully, I wanted to love it. I wish I could, but I cannot. There is no way you can see the laser line on a white tile floor past five feet, even if you have a white floor. In the dark, it is difficult to see the laser line. I tried my own set of batteries as well, but it did not work. We will likely have to return this.
It was an accurate drawing, but it was too dark. A laser line started hard to see six feet from the tool as sunlight came in through the window from the windowsill while I was tiling a bathroom with mosaic sheets and grout lines of 1/8 inch. By taping cardboard over the window I was able to see the lines clearly across the 14 foot-long bathroom and using just the overhead light. It is well known that the laser is not intended for outdoor applications, so I am not disappointed. However, the ambient light from the window should not have caused As I comb out the thinset and keep the pattern on course with the mosaics, it was difficult to actually see what I was doing in the one bulb ceiling light.
This is something I decided to check out to see whether it was faster than I was at squareing off my lines. The speed and accuracy of the algorithm make it the preferred choice. There aren't a lot of places with 100 foot rooms.
In the case of dips or low spots, you cannot see the laser and this will have an adverse effect on your health. This Bosch laser is an expensive piece of garbage and waste of money after it is off by 1/4 inch at 17 feet. As a Bosch customer, I was expecting so much more. It is nice to have the magnet mounting plate, but useless once you turn on this inaccurate laser. Spend your money on something that works instead of wasting it on a useless brand.
My house finally needed tile work so I broke down and did it. My tile installation project is almost 2,500 square feet, so this seemed to be an easy solution to ensure that my lines are All you have to do is plug the batteries in and press As a first use, we laid out the tiles down a hallway that had a quarter clearance and used full tile widths across the width, and this was quite easy. Both string and chalk lines get in the way and are obstructed when you try to hit them, and chalk lines can become obstructed if you lift your hands above them. As I was aiming down over 30', I had clear laser lines on the floor the entire way, which made setting tiles a breeze, especially since I was using rapid-set tiles Set as thin as possible - It's time to run my first leg (the last aisle I need to cross I would have to mix small batches and set 2-hour timers only if I were using a different method It would be possible for me to run with full buckets at 3 tiles a time. I ran into one very minor issue, the time-out is a little on the short side. It's about 45 minutes and then it shuts off on its own. As long as you reset the slider after every bucket of thins, the batteries will last longer, but unless you do this every time- If you turn it off, it will turn off on its own. In addition to framing walls with this, I have also used it for laying out for that purpose. The 3D layout app made it easier for me to lay out 3 rooms and I almost forgot I had it. You can pretty much lay out any type of straight line, 45 degree or 90 degree layout you require, whether you're laying tile, framing or doing whatever else you need to do.
Today I received the Bosch Laser Tool in the mail. The box was damaged when it was supposed to be new. You can see in the pictures that the return slip was in the box and the tool was covered in tile setting material (thin set). There are some accessories missing from it. In the box was also a part of a window shade. It looks like it might work so I gave it 2 stars. Take note that In the case of a damaged boxed item, you may be able to return it to Amazon.
I have been laying tile for 18 years now and I still have many other Tile Lasers to try out. The setting up and using of the system is very easy. The Tile Worker made laying out tiles a snap. I would recommend this as a must have tool for any tile worker.
Throughout the last few years, I have been using the Bosch laser square for tiling as part of my professional remodeling business. Since it stands above the working surface of the floor, it was easy for me to reach. My favorite part of it is the piano. It would be wise for you to do at least one big floor in your life. A tile floor is a must if you plan on laying a couple of them.
