We have them in our mudroom so we can grab our jacket without turning on the light. The lights are very bright, motion detection works great, and the option to pick between bright white and cool white is so nice. Also, they do not stay in the office past 10 p. m. To save battery, there will be no movement for 15 seconds. It's awesome how the magnetic attachment attaches to the wall. There is a little bit of difficulty in opening them so you can recharge the battery, but you won't have to recharge for months if you purchase high capacity batteries.

In a nutshell, Just make sure you don't place them too close together if you want these lights to work well for stairs. Also, I hung some on the ceiling, and they worked just as well. In case of a power outage, these devices can be very useful.

This is not a product I recommend! So that's what I think! I think these are fine, but I have a problem opening them up to install The knives were very hard to open and I had to use one to do it! I had to use tape to make them close properly because they wouldn't close properly without it

I also do not have to worry about them sticking to the closet wall. For this reason, I have to tape them to the wall so that they stay in place. All they have going for them is that they work well going on and off and the light is fine. It is not that I would not purchase them again, it is that I would not return them! Having to write such a bad review is very disappointing!.

All in all, a very good product. There are two cool options for white LED lights warm LED lights and white LED lights. The magnetic included in the unit is actually strong enough to hold it up even when there are batteries inside. It's different from what most people expect.
Very happy with it.
