Covering the indicator light with a small piece of tape or a sticker should help solve the issue. This lamp has all of the features I was looking for. It has brightness and color memory, so when you turn it on, it will be set to the same brightness and color settings as the last time you turned it on. Color and brightness are both well-balanced. Unlike some other similar lamps, the lamp's LED lights do not stay on when it is turned off. It has a solid, high-quality feel to it, and the motions are fluid. My only minor gripes are that the brand name is printed in such a large font on the base, and that the buttons could be raised, textured, or otherwise felt in the dark. I used a piece of tape to cover the power button so I could feel it in the dark. This is a lamp that I strongly suggest.
I was relying on overhead lighting, which was insufficient, because my "desk" had become my kitchen table. I bought this lamp and have been very pleased with the light it produces. The bulb has a pleasant coolness to it. The timer is extremely helpful. I tried a few different light settings to find the one that worked best for me. Because most of the ports on my computer are in use, the USB port has come in handy. This lamp is one of my favorites. UPDATE: Because the on/off switch is flush with the lamp's base, turning it on when there isn't enough light to see the switch is difficult. Just to the right of the switch, I positioned a small felt pad with sticky backing. Even in the dark, I can now locate it.
The on/off button is touch sensitive, which can be difficult to find in the dark, but just like my Gf, if I keep rubbing it, it eventually turns on. It's the ideal size for my art desk and well worth the money.
The lamp is lovely. The brightness is excellent, almost as bright as daylight, and it transitions smoothly from soft to bright lighting. On the table, it's stable. It does not appear to be "cheap. " Simple to put on and take away. The purchase was a great success.
It does exactly what it says on the tin and is very user-friendly. It also has a nice appearance; this is my third lamp of this type, and it is my favorite! It is used in my office at work.
I've been working from home for a little over a year and needed a suitable light for my desk. I'm also crafty, and I work on projects at my desk, so I needed something that was bright but didn't generate a lot of heat or disturb my other half in the living room. This is the light! I've used all of the functions (dimmer, various lighting modes), and the light's mobility is incredible. I don't have to move the entire lamp to change where the light shines! I'd buy it again in a heartbeat!.
This was purchased to replace a dependable old halogen desk lamp that had finally died after 15 years of exposure to the elements. I thought I'd miss the halogen lamp that I turned 180 degrees towards the ceiling to provide soft indirect lighting, but this lamp has done a good job in its place. BRIGHT - br>br> I needed something bright because I'm bouncing light off the ceiling to create soft lighting in a small room. It's difficult to do a one-to-one correspondence. One comparison between this and my old halogen is that the halogen provided more of a spot light, whereas this provides a longer strip of LED, but overall, I believe the results are very similar. LIGHT COLOR - br>br> The halogen produced a brilliant, ever-changing light. light that is a little yellow No LED, in my opinion, can match that appeal, and I do miss it. This lamp is acceptable because it is close enough. VERSATILITY OF THE PLACEMENT - The base is nicely weighted. It is not required that it be clamped in any way. The lamp can also rotate nearly 180 degrees in both directions, allowing it to be placed almost anywhere. aesthetics - aesthetics - aesthetics - aesthetics - aesthetics The beholder decides what is beautiful. Personally, I think this lamp has a nice minimalist look to it; the lines are all clean, and the construction feels solid. br>br>FLEXIBILITY - The on/off switch is a nice touch button that has a soft, unobtrusive blue light that makes it easy to find in the dark. With a simple finger slide, the brightness can be adjusted from dim to full, and there's a timer function that I've never used and doubt I will in the future. br>br>FINAL SUMMARY - This was an excellent purchase that I would make again. I'll consider it a success if it lasts half as long as the halogen lamp it replaces.
This is one of the few items I've bought that I feel like I should have spent more money on. The price is ridiculously low and the quality is exceptionally high, just like a Southwest Airlines gotta get away; It's heavy for its size and sits confidently on my desk (white glass adds drama), the controls are precise, the joints and arm solid, the indicator lights subtle and precise; the only suggestion is that the power cord plug grip a little more firmly, or the plug should snap in; Aside from that, and the USB port, this lamp is a lovely piece of furniture; superb.
