Yep! It's something I'm going to do. So far, everything has gone well.
I don't believe you can because there is no way to open it to see what kind of bulb was used. However, replacing bulbs is likely to be more expensive than purchasing a new one.

(Excuse the strewn desk; I'm in the process of rearranging things. ) )br>br>Before commenting on the lamp, I wanted to wait a little bit. I've never written a review before, so please forgive me if this is disorganized. br>br>The lamp has three (3) brightness levels, none of which is excessively bright. It does exactly what it claims to do: it illuminates your workspace. The lamp's light does not get warm or hot, so you won't burn yourself if you accidentally touch it, and it won't heat up your room after a long period of use. br>The clamp is adequate as well, clamping on to thin surfaces with ease; however, anything larger than that causes the clamp to fall off when bending the light backwards. br>br>Overall, I really like the lamp; it's perfect for my small space, and I won't be using my regular light any time soon.
The light is bright, and the clip appears to be simple and sturdy, but the item's image makes the lamp's flexible neck appear twice as long as it is. I can get by with it, but it's not nearly as useful as if it matched the image. Check out the customer photos to see how short this lamp is in person.
The light has a simple touch power button that, once pressed, provides ideal lighting for use in a room with another person sleeping. When you touch it again, it becomes brighter, and when you press it a third time, it easily illuminates whatever it is pointing at. Because it is only designed to emit light from the front, rather than the back, the rest of the room remains dark. The light is turned off with the fourth tap. If you don't have anything to clip it to, the wide clip base can also be used as a stand. The arm can bend in any direction to direct the light in the desired direction.
For my headboard, I'm using a reading light, which works well. The tough plastic clamp was a good fit for my low, thick-walled wooden desk. headboard in the style of ish The lighting modes are fantastic - I focused mine on the headboard. For older paperbacks, I use the brightest. I'm still figuring out how to control the lighting. KEEEP AND READ THE INSTRUCTIONS! Rubber pads on the clamp would prevent the clamp from sliding perpendicular when I accidentally knocked it with a pillow, which is something I wish it had (and would be simple enough to add, I suppose). Because of the low headboard, I extended the light as high as I could - it could be a little top heavy. Rubber on the clamp surfaces is even more important for securing it. Oh, and a touch on/off feature would be nice, as well as a slightly longer electrical cord. I have the 2-pack. a three-pronged cord connected to a multiport power supply Aside from that, I'm extremely pleased with my purchase.
When I first saw this lamp, I made a snap judgment about it. Because the box was smaller than I expected, I was expecting a disaster akin to what you'd get from Wish. When I took it out of the box and plugged it in, however, I realized I was completely mistaken. This tiny device is a force to be reckoned with. When you tap the power symbol, you'll see three brightness levels. BRIGHT is the third one. The clip's grip is strong, which I like, and the neck is flexible and holds its shape well. The only drawbacks I can think of with this lamp are that the cord is a little shorter than I'd like and that my cat has figured out how to turn it on, which I believe gives him too much power in my house.
It was bought to replace a desk lamp. I ended up getting one for each of my children's desks. I can hang it on the wall or clip it to the wall! The maximum brightness setting is very bright, but the low and medium settings are more versatile. It also helps to have the three shades of color warmth, as I prefer the cool white for writing but the warm white for reading!.
At work, I made a desk out of a couple of old kitchen cabinets and a half-inch-thick piece of OSB. It's a lovely piece of furniture. It has a lot of drawers and is very sturdy, but the area in which it is located relies heavily on skylights to get good light rather than just mediocre light. That's fine on a sunny summer day, but we're approaching autumn, which means shorter days and more cloudy skies. I get my paperwork done, but it's a struggle, so I went looking for a light that can be moved from place to place, produces plenty of light, can withstand some abuse, and has a small footprint in the work area. br>The 5' cord was adequate, and I believe that asking for a 6' cord would have been excessive. If you're not using it at work, 5' should suffice. br>The memory feature is useful, but allow me to explain it further. So long as it isn't unplugged, it remembers the last color choice you made. You still have to tap three times to get full brightness (1 low, 2 medium, 3 bright), and if the device is unplugged for even a fraction of a second, the color memory is lost and it reverts to the lowest intensity. If you want to change the color, simply hold the on button down and it will scroll through the available options. Choose one, adjust the brightness with a tap, and you're good to go. br>The quality is excellent, but the fixture is relatively light. br> The clamp is strong, but it doesn't take a lot of force to open it because of its size and shape. br>For a secondary light, it does a lot more than I expected to improve the lighting in my paperwork area, and I'm glad I went with this one even though black wasn't an option.
