As a result of some bad reviews about the product after my order, I tried to cancel my order before the item was shipped, but my request was declined. Despite following the instructions and trying to use it, the product does not work. I have tried it several times and will not use it again. A company response was to simply buy For the most part, our Travel Berkey has been a good buy. We've had it for almost 9 months and are very pleased I am not sure what functions the water should be performing, since we have not paid to have it tested, but I suspect for now we should just leave it be and trust it. It does taste better now that I've switched to the new water. Recently we encountered a problem with the fluoride filters (both the standard/black and fluoride/white filters) which do not seem to be working properly. They should run for 2000 gallons, according to Berkey. Due to the fact we are not big water drinkers, we have only consumed about 500 gallons As of yet, 700 gallons of water have been collected. Our filter manufacturer Berkey told us the warranty for the filter was six months, but that once that period of time has passed, we will have to purchase new filters. The system was something that we were sold on based on their claim that the filters would last for X number of gallons this was frustrating since these things are not cheap. This does make you wonder if the water is being cleaned in actuality to the extent that the company claims.

My family of three was unable to use this water because first of all it took forever for the water to filter to the bottom of the pool.
