BUY THIS IF YOU DON'T CARE! This is awful! Buying this to go with my InSinkErator hot water tank was the right decision for me. It seemed like they could be plugged in together since they are manufactured by the same company. It doesn't work like this! It is impossible to use them together with what is included in the box. My hardware store has to be visited twice to fix this, either I need more pieces or I'm missing pieces. You must be kidding me. That's the dumbest thing I have ever heard. While I bought the same brand of products that are designed to be compatible with each other, I still end up stabbing them together as if trying to force incompatible units to work. My desire to return this is so strong and it is still not connected. I refuse to go to the hardware store again today. This is a scam! Don't buy it! This is a bad buy! Do not buy it! After some searching I was able to find what I needed My first reaction is to be happy to have hot water, but I think the instructions should indicate which extra fittings I need to purchase. They must want to increase the workload for the professionals, I understand. Yet professionals have enough work to do with people who do not want to bother with installations. Give the weekend homeowner who wants to do something rewarding but is not a plumber easy access to the tools they need.
I like the taste of this As for the 2000 model, compared to the 1000 model, I am not sure if the upgrade is worth it, but from what they say, it appears that it is. With my Insinkerator HC, I find this to be very useful. Although the water doesn't appear to be blocked or delayed, it doesn't seem to slow it down It is nice to know that when I drink the water there is no flavor associated with it. Tap water is so bland I cannot tell the difference. Tips for writers For ice, use this filtered water. In comparison to regular tap water ice, filtered water taints the flavor quite a bit.
The item has been returned. As a result, I returned this item to the store since the double lever faucet was not suitable The faucet I got came with a GE filter with an iSpring faucet.
