Many people, including myself, have complained about the indicator light not working after changing the filter. I discovered a RESET inside the front of the chamber, where the filter fits, entirely by chance. It's similar to a SIM card in that it pops out when you press it. When you re-insert it, the light will turn back on! I'm not sure if this is a good solution, but it did the trick for me!.

Because of the price, I ordered the white filter instead of the blue; what a blunder! I also noticed that the white filter sprays out with a lot of pressure, whereas the blue filter uses a mineral content to give a fresh taste, and that the white filter sprays out with a lot of pressure, whereas the blue filter is much slower. This indicates that there isn't a lot of filtration going on. Water flow will be reduced in order to filter water effectively. This is not possible with the White filter. I could tell the filtered water didn't have the same pleasant taste as the Blue filter water. I will not purchase the white in the future. If you want to save money, don't buy anything.

I . 100 gallons of water is not enough for these. Since the beginning of the year, I've been using these. After two weeks, the cartridges will no longer filter. I use about 30 to 40 gallons of water every two weeks on average, so the claim that the Pur cartridge lasts 100 gallons of water is false. I spent approximately $20. 00 per month for cartridge replacements, making the PUR filter quite costly over time.

The date is October 8, 2020. br>I took a chance and ordered Amazon Warehouse because it was cheaper than buying one separately. I got it! br>br>I got it! Both filters were sealed in OEM bags, despite the fact that the AW package was bent up. br>br>Woot! br>br>Woot! br>br>Woot

- PUR filters, on the other hand, aren't as effective as they once were at filtering as much water. I put in a filter the week of October 10; now it's the week of November 20. Only one person lives there, and the PUR filter water is used for cooking and drinking. It's already blinking at me, indicating that I need to change the filter. I'm not going to be able to filter 100 gallons with 3 gallons of water per day. br>br>It's a good thing they were on sale - When Aquacrest filters for 4 months, I'm not sure if I'll order again.

Unfortunately, living in a green state and participating in its rituals can cause you to forget things.

. You know, like when you buy a filter and are supposed to let it run for 5 minutes before using it, but instead you go outside for a smoke break and return to a blinking red light and a flooded sink a few hours later. br>br>To cut a long story short, I've started purchasing bottled water.

. ps, not that it makes a difference, but I keep those around as well.

I used to use three-stage pur filters, but they clogged up way too quickly for some reason. I discovered these two-stage filters, and while they don't filter out as much as the single-stage filters, they last much longer. Our water comes from a private water system and is supposedly drinkable, but I prefer the added security of using the pur stage two filters, and more than one friend has commented on how good our water tastes. Pur water filters, in my opinion, do an excellent job of making the water taste clean and clear. br>I appreciate it, pur!.

Because we live on a military base, we've had a lot of problems with our drinking water. The water is foul-tasting, and we are concerned about the chemicals that can be found in it.
