A PUR filter was installed after renovation work was begun in my office building, which resulted in rust and corrosion I was very pleased with the prompt delivery and good condition of my product. The first thing I noticed after installing the generic replacement was that the water dispensed was much higher than when I used the OEM filter. Since I am unaware of the amount of filtration going on, I am unable to respond. Since I threw away the OEM filter without opening it, I will open the new filter after it is installed to see how much/what type of filtration it provides for the new system.
