So far, everything has gone well. It's simple to set up, replace the filter, and it's reasonably priced.
With that in mind, I was concerned when I turned on my faucet at 100% pressure and the Filter blew off and water shot up into my ceiling. br>After some trial and error, I discovered that I needed to keep the pressure on my faucet at around 20 pounds per square inch. 30% of the way while "conditioning" the new filter and leaving it on for 5 min or more After that, the filter could work at 100% pressure; however, you do not need 100% pressure for normal use either, as it doesn really change the strength or speed with which water dispenses out%.

These are far superior to the PUR filter I replaced in every way. br> The Brita is much more durable, much more compact, and the water tastes much better. Furthermore, because the change filter now indicator is mechanical rather than electric, you won't have to worry about the built-in and inaccessible light burning out after a few months.

It's extremely simple to set up. I liked that it came with all of the necessary parts for installing the faucet. br>br>My only complaint is that the filter should have lasted longer. I've had it for about a month, maybe a little longer, and the display is already half-filled with red.

This product has just begun to spew water, which is very disappointing. I double-checked that the connection was secure and that water was still leaking from the unit's top. When I select drinking water on the dial, it sprays with great force. Britta has completely let me down. Before I bought it, I read the reviews and saw that other people had the same issue, but I just assumed it was a one-time occurrence given the brand, and I understand that things happen with products. I'm not going out with covid cases on the rise, so I'm not going back. I was counting on this to work, but now I'm out of cash and without filtered water. Garbage!.

When I was looking for a Pur faucet that looked similar, I came across this. Brita appears to have simplified the filter installation/change process by eliminating the need to unscrew the filter container. br>br>And that's fine. But. br>br>Once you've hooked up the Brita, you'll see why the faucet-mounted Brita is so popular. Pur filters mounted on a wall are placed in a sealed container that keeps the water pressure in check. br>br>Only a rubber gasket keeps the Brita filters in place. While it is true that this saves you approximately nine seconds when installing or changing the filter, this is not the case until the Brita filter is installed. settles(? ) in, running the faucet for the first time to clean it out will result in at least three instances of mild water pressure blowing the filter off the holder and spraying you and anyone else within three feet of the faucet directly in the face. br>br>After that, you must repeat the procedure several times, resulting in a total of - Time was saved by 27 seconds. It's been an adjustment to go from a Pur filter to a Brita filter after 4 years. When compared to Pur's snap-in-place method, mounting it was extremely simple. The filter came loose from the device on day one due to the water pressure, so we have to be careful not to turn it all the way up, which has never happened with Pur. There's also a dreadful filter indicator that's basically the same as those tiny vacancy slots on public restrooms. The Pur has an LED indicator, whereas the potties do not. Oh, and the knob to switch from faucet to filter is incredibly firm and difficult to turn, especially when your hands are wet, and having to crank it so hard every time I want a glass of water is incredibly annoying. With our Pur, you could use your pinky to flip it. This one was purchased to give it a try and because filters are in short supply. I doubt we'll refill it; instead, we'll return to Pur as soon as possible. However, it does the job and the water is filtered, so I can't really fault it.

I like that you can easily switch from filtered to unfiltered water; however, you should not try to run hot water through the filter; only cool or cold water should be run through it.
