I wasn't able to keep my promise - This model has a 90-degree handle that interfered with my backsplash, so I'm returning it. br>br>This faucet was extremely solid, well-packed, and had a magnetic pull-down return. The fact that I had to return was a source of sadness for me.
The valve was set up incorrectly. The handle isn't working correctly. br>A new cartridge was sent by the company. br>In general, I'm satisfied with my purchase. I just feel like a lot of quality control has been thrown out the window as a result of Covid's supply shortages.
It's perfect for my new sink.
I wanted the handle to face the user rather than the right side, so I switched the hot and cold connections so that rotating left is hot and rotating right is cold. There haven't been any problems thus far.
Elkay produces attractive fixtures at a reasonable cost, with the high arc shape and lever handle being particularly popular. The finish is, in my opinion, the most appealing feature.
