The fixture is entirely made of metal, rather than the heavy brass of the 35-year-old "builders quality" fixture it replaced. It's been in use for about two years now and hasn't caused any issues. However, I doubt it will last as long as the old one did, which was 35 years!

My laundry room now has this faucet. It was simple to put together and looks and functions beautifully.
It functions admirably. I really like how the faucet swivels to the left and right. It's simple to hold and turn the handles. Cleaning is a breeze.
This is the third time I've bought a Delta Foundations Bar Prep Faucet. It looks great in the outdoor kitchen and is resistant to the elements and heat. It needs to be replaced on a regular basis, but it is still the best.
This was a replacement for one on my 1985 SeaRay boat, which was 28 feet long. It outperforms the original in terms of quality, as all of the fittings, valves, and valve body are brass. (The old one had a plastic valve body that came apart when I tried to replace the valve stems with new washers. ) The old one had always dripped a little around the base-to-spigot fitting. This is not the new one!.
The cheap plastic faucet was replaced by this one by the plumber. It appears to be in good condition and should last a long time because I would simply replace the valve to restore it to its original state.
The center spigot moves a little, but it's well made. Hoses are not included in the package, but can be purchased for a reasonable price.
The water flowed slowly for some reason, so it took a long time to heat up. It was driving me insane. This new faucet not only solves the problem, but it also looks great. It has made me extremely happy - It's also backed by a lifetime warranty.
I purchased this Delta bar faucet to replace a 32-year-old bulider quality bar faucet that required new valves. The parts were all brass and extremely stiff 32 years ago. The new model has a flimsy feel to it. The old one was most likely under $25, while the new one was around $55. To get comparable quality, I guess I'd have to spend $200. I'm disappointed, but it's not surprising to me. Almost everything produced offshore is inferior and, of course, significantly less expensive. I bought it for that reason. I received my money's worth!.
