How do I know what disposal it fits?

As a result, I was able to use my current disposal, an insinkerator, without any problems. It was easy for the plumber to install.

Will this sink not work if a garbage disposal is installed? A new build will use this as part of the preparation island. ?

Only an insert to complement the sink color is being used here. In this case, you'll still need to use a standard disposal flange which goes inside the dispenser. This works fine with

The last time I installed it was in December There's a broken screw on the tightening screw. What do I need to do to order a new one?

Please read the following announcement carefully! The flange is designed to SNAP INSIDE the flange on the garbage disposal! Please take note of this important information! The flange is designed to SNAP INSIDE the flange on the garbage disposal! The garbage disposal will come with a stainless steel flange coated in an aluminum and silver color
5/5

It will hide the ugly color of the aluminum/silver flange when you snap this Blanco flange inside it. If you then pop it into the sink, it will look just like To connect the garbage disposal to the flange, go underneath your sink and turn on the disposal. ***In most cases, you will not connect your garbage disposal directly to this Blanco Flange because the aluminum rim flange fits better. I see a lot of bad reviews saying that it won't work. The instructions were extremely vague, and it took a while to figure out how to connect.

I have only needed to replace the rubber splash guard one time during the last four years
5/5

The colors matched our new sink (as of 2015). Installing it was fairly straightforward, though there was some confusion with sink rim wore down a tiny little over time, and it tends to collect some gunk over time, but in the end, it improved the look of the disposal drain fairly significantly. Around 4 years ago, the rubber splash guard began to degrade (bubbling and leaving black streaks where the rubber had broken In my quest to contact Blanco in regards to the item number listed here, they were not very helpful. The company maintained that this was not a Blanco product, that they did not have any information about item # BL441099, that the company did not carry parts for such products, and that they were not interested in assisting me with finding a replacement I didn't enjoy this experience as much as I had hoped. After a few hours of careful measurement, I ordered a LASCO 39-year warranty I purchased the 9057 Replacement Splashguard from Amazon and it appears to be a perfect fit. We have purchased both Blanco products (such as the lovely Silgranite sink they have) and I have been very satisfied with their customer service in the past for that sink. However, I was very dissatisfied with their service this time around.

It does not match the Insinkerator's color scheme
3/5

The sink is black, not anthracite as described in the product description. Wasn't that the purpose of the black sink, to match the It seems obvious that the black flange of the sink contrasts with the dark gray of the It's made out of plastic! Brand new and only FIFTY dollars! On the basis of the price, I assumed (I know, I know) that it was metal. However, I overlooked this fact when reading Added to this The model of Insinkerator Evolution I bought does not fit it. The Insinkerator disposal has a standard connection flange the same size as all other Insinkerator disposals. In addition to being too small and plastic, this Blanco flange will not keep the compression ring on the disposal that secures the disposal to the underside of the sink in place. I love how simple the product is and how great the idea is The attempt was a failure.

it correctly the first time
3/5

We bought this specifically to be used with the Blanco sink and the Insinkerator garbage disposal for which it is designed (actually, we bought an Insinkerator garbage disposal to be sure it would work). Apart from the black rubber splash guard, the brown part is actually two separate pieces the inner tube is actually the strainer with holes and a lift knob, while the outer flanged part is the open sleeve you use to cover the opening around your disposal. In spite of the flange being plastic and the sink being a marble composite, the two colors complement each other perfectly. The splash guard that came with the disposal was originally black. When I first installed it, I replaced it with the one that came with the As I inserted the outer sleeve into the opening, I pushed it in until it was perfectly positioned. Our first test was to place the strainer in the sink. If the water ran, the sink was filling up even with the strainer in the open position (turn the strainer one way to close or lift it to Since the water in the sink drains very slowly when we shut off the water, we had to wait to turn off the water before we could turn it on. On close inspection of the strainer, it appears the following was the problem Hole in the middle of the disk allows water to drop down onto a disk, and then the water falls off the outer edge rather than through the hole. Orienting the strainer in the opening, it will touch the sides of the opening as the edge of the disk. Due to the disposal opening blocking the outer edge of the disk, and the inner hole in the middle, which is molded with a little "wall," it cannot drain out of there. On top of that, the hole in the black rubber splash guard is also preventing it from draining out. As you may have guessed. The middle of the sentence. In other words, the water is expected to fall off the outer edge while the hole in the black splash guard is in the middle, which together is making drainage extremely difficult. As stated in the directions, it is pretty difficult to remove the flange once it is in there, and that is indeed When I called Blanco customer service to ask what I was doing wrong to cause the drainage to be so slow, the person on the line had no idea what I was referring to when I described the disk and the hole in the middle (she even asked for I eventually got her to send me another kit after a frustrating call on her part. It's a good thing, because the flange was very difficult to remove and we had to pry it out using a screwdriver, which, of course, rendered the flange useless. The new flange arrived and we couldn't even get it all the way down into the opening. No matter how hard we pushed, the flange wouldn't seat down all the way. Following all the frustration, my wife eventually decided it was okay to have the silver garbage disposal opening. Currently this flange kit is sitting under the sink in the cabinet, but I am not sure what it is there for.
