Purchased in February 2021, unboxed and checked glass only, due to supply issues with Pandemic. It worked fine. br>The main weather stripping was damaged when it was installed last weekend. br>Had to cut off a bad spot, so basically what I have now will leak because the hinge areas aren't covered as much as they should be. br>It's a bad design in any case, and it should come pre-cut, which would make it easier to handle for non-professionals. br>If I had it to do over, I would have paid my glass guy more for the 3 hour round trip.
This is a shower from the pits of Hell. It was extremely challenging to set up. It took our seasoned contractor and his (big bruiser) assistant 1 1/2 days to complete the installation. The directions say to seal under the walls only after the walls have been installed and the door has been installed. Water can still escape through a gap in the "preset hinges. " The sweeps, when installed according to the instructions, do not prevent any water from entering the house. The first test run, needless to say, went horribly wrong.
We had to screw them on instead. There were no problems with the shower doors or the pan.
My shower is fantastic! Doors with a strong frame and a sophisticated appearance!.
