Questions & Answers
Yes, it includes a bracket for both the wall and the floor. It's a black aluminum U-sale that runs the length of the glass on both sides and the bottom. For added support, we drilled extra hikes in the brackets for screws and caulked under the brackets when putting it up. The glass is a colossal amount of weight. So enlist assistance in lifting it. My unit is fantastic!
I'm not sure because I installed on a shower pan, but we watched multiple YouTube videos before installing because the provided instructions were so bad, and we used screws and silicone caulk to attach both the vertical and horizontal track pieces. We even added more holes because the number provided didn't seem to be enough for the panel's weight.
No hinge. Because my shower is 48 inches long, I went with a stationary solid wall. There is a walk-in opening that is not framed by glass.
Yes. Two U-shaped black aluminum brackets run the length of the glass unit on both sides and bottom. We drilled additional holes for additional screw support. Because the wall is so heavy, make sure you have help carrying and installing it. Caulk under the brackets before screwing them to the wall and base. Prepare all necessary tools, including a level. I adore this unit, but it is quite heavy!

It's quite lovely once it's up and running. Here are a few tips to help you through the process. br>br>It's heavy, so enlist the help of a friend or hire some furniture movers. To lift it into the tracks, I used glass suction cups and two people. br>br>Instead of the kit's wall anchors, purchase better ones. It's a small cost to improve the track's attachment to the wall. If you're drilling into tile for the vertical rail, get a good diamod drill bit and "take your time. "br>br>If you're drilling into steel or cast iron tubs, get a good cobalt drill bit and "take your time," and use a couple drops of oil to keep your drill bit from burning up. br>br>Use a clear silicone caulk for the bathroom or kitchen. Before screwing the tracks and rails down, caulk the bottoms of them. Before and after screwing in the screws, caulk the screw holes. Once the glass is in place, caulk all of the seams.
It was carried in by two people and a dog. For added strength, we drilled more holes in the aluminum side and bottom rails. And it's a good thing I did! I'll never have to worry about this glass shower wall falling down! Additional screws and mollies were included in the package. It's a fantastic wall that perfectly meets our requirements.
I was hesitant to order this fixture for my bathroom shower, but it looks fantastic once it was installed. It gives my shower a spa feel, and I've gotten a lot of compliments on it. It was well worth the money.
I used a bathtub as a mounting platform for mine. Drilling into the bathtub was extremely difficult, but with the right drill bits, we were able to make it work. We didn't get the vertical rail at first, so I have two extra holes in my tiles that need to be filled. To make it work, I had to cram a lot of the items they provided between the rail and the glass at the bottom. Also, there's a sharp edge on the bottom of the piece. It was done with a less-than-skilled worker. I had to assist in a number of areas, despite my lack of experience. Things didn't turn out the way we had hoped. However, it appears to be in good condition and is sufficiently sturdy.
Installing it is a breeze.
No, I'm not interested because the bathroom is mojad in every way.

This is a fantastic purchase!.
