The doors moved as if they were floating after I installed these. This was a huge improvement over the old rollers, which were all out of shape and clunking around, and which I had to put up with for years. br>br>Then, after about 5 weeks, they lost their shape and began to bounce around. These are a huge letdown. I went out and looked for some heavy-duty ones, which I purchased and installed. I'm gliding through the air once more.

Because they are more oval in shape (less contact, less friction), I thought they might work a little better than the original flat rollers that came with the shower door. It's difficult to say whether they do or not because our unit is about 20 years old and they don't work as smoothly as I'd hoped, but I believe it's the door frame itself because they worked fine before installation. Time will tell, as it always does, but they appear to be of reasonable quality.

They are not available at either Home Depot or Lowes. (at the time of writing, December 2018) So your only options for replacing the rollers at those stores were to buy a new rail system and see if it worked with your existing doors, or to replace the entire system. Rather than making these low-cost, easy-to-install rollers available, what are you doing? They were purchased about 5 months ago to replace a set that had been in use for 10 years and have performed admirably.

The rollers greatly improve the sliding action of the shower doors once they are installed on the rail. I am extremely happy. It is not difficult to set up. Just make sure you have a level and a screwdriver on hand for fine tuning. Get rid of the old rollers. Turn up the heat!.

They were simple to set up and functioned flawlessly. There will be no more rusted water dripping down the shower door every time we open or close it.

This is an excellent product. In less than five minutes, I was able to swap out the old one for the new one. I went from not having any sliding doors to having perfect sliding doors.
