Questions & Answers
There were no instructions in the package. When you lay out the parts and examine the handle you're replacing, it should be obvious how it goes together.
I don't recall how I put it on, but it took a few tries to get it just right. Maybe you should contact the manufacturer?
use a new Phillips screwdriver or a Phillips screwdriver of a different size

I agree with the remaining five points. reviewers who gave it five stars It was simple to put together. However, because a few reviewers expressed dissatisfaction with the lack of instructions, I'm including the instructions that came with mine.
Before I purchased this, I read the reviews and realized that I should have purchased something better (read: more expensive). It appears that the completion will be satisfactory. The opening of the box is the first source of problems mentioned by others. There are no rules. You'll need to know how to put it together and adjust it for different types of glass and thicknesses. The set screws were not drilled straight and were angled. The supplied wrench fit into one of the allen screws but not the other or the supplied extra, which is something you'll never notice once it's installed, but it is an indication of the overall quality of the product. I tried using my wrench, but it didn't fit either. Clearly, the allen screws are manufactured incorrectly. How difficult is it to create such a basic component? Both plastic and metal washers were given to me. Which one should I choose? Is it possible that I'll combine the two? How do I put them together in the right order? This is related to the lack of instructions mentioned earlier. br>Now it's time to put it all together. My shower door is thicker than a regular glass door because it is ridged. To get the correct installation, I had to fiddle with the parts. I needed to get some allen screws so the wrench would fit. It was installed, but I had two extra plastic sleeves. They had to be a sleeve for the bolt's passage through the glass, I reasoned. Take it apart again, install the sleeves, and discover that they are too long for the thickness of my glass. Is it better to cut them off to make them fit, or should I just leave them out? I reassembled the handle without them because I didn't have any instructions. Everything appears to be in place and working properly now. br>All in all, I gave this product four stars for fit and finish, but deducted two stars for the lack of instructions, the allen screw, and the manufacturer's quality. I'd look at other items in this category to see if there's anything with instructions. You don't realize how good something is until you get it.
The handle itself exceeds my expectations in every way. Its engineering, on the other hand, is naive. An Allen wrench that is long and thin is required. Otherwise, the glass door will be shattered. I, like most people, have an abundance of Allen wrenches, all of which are packaged like jack-hammers. knives, and they're far too big to spin against a shower door made of glass. br>br>All right, let's get started. I thought to myself, "good, they recognize this and have addressed it," when I saw that the on-line documents said they included the proper Allen wrench. "br>br>No, not at all. br>br>To my dismay. Despite the advertisement, there was no wrench included. I combed through the packaging, the floor, and my route to the mailbox. even the mailboxes themselves There is no wrench in the package. So I pulled out my toolkit and spent an hour turning the screws a fifth of a turn until they were properly seated. br>br>It's an excellent product, and I have two comments:
1. Create a wrench that takes into account the fact that the set screw's angle of attack is extremely narrow.
2. Add the wrench to the mix.
I'm glad I splurged on the base disc/washers. Extremely durable! The handle does not loosen over time and must be retighered on a regular basis.
For the finish, it's a bit shabby. But I can't say much because I don't know much about it, but for the price, it's a good deal. The fit is excellent.
The shower door pull arrived on time and in perfect condition. All of the pieces, as well as an allen wrench and instructions, were included. It was simple to follow the instructions, which included a diagram. The installation was simple and straightforward. This is a product that I wholeheartedly endorse.
The ends are stainless. It would have cost about 5 times as much to install another acrylic one, and this one looks and fits perfectly. In addition, the other handle had done so. It has one on the inside, but this one was designed in such a way that I could have a matching one on the inside, which my wife prefers.
Although the product appears to be well-made and durable, there are no instructions included. I'm glad I didn't take out my old one, because I would have been completely lost!.
