On a swing door, it works perfectly. Sliding doors are something I don't have or understand.
My 3/8-inch glass door fits perfectly with the 3/8-inch door sweep. 5/16 inch would most likely suffice.
This set has not changed color yet, but we have only had it for a short time. The old ones, which weren't this brand, lasted about a year and a half and didn't change color. This pack allows us to swap out items as needed without having to buy new ones, even if they only last as long as the old ones did. I hope this information is useful to you. Stay safe

And one of these sweeps was in desperate need of replacement. The previous one had turned yellow and smelled bad. Because the space where the glass door clamps on the bottom is so narrow and small, they're difficult to clean. These saved the day. br>br> It worked great after trimming and putting it on. br>br>The only issue is the trimming. These are made to be trimmed to fit, so they are very long. The shower will be completely watertight once this is completed. I'm not sure how I'm supposed to trim them. The clamping part is made of a very hard plastic. The bottom sweeps are made of a supple rubber. With just a pair of scissors, I couldn't do it. The garage has a bandsaw, which came in handy. This, on the other hand, melts into my skin like butter. br>br>I would buy them again without hesitation if these two were to wear out and I needed a replacement. My only piece of advice is to plan ahead of time how you'll cut them down to size.
The shower door sweep was cut to the correct length for my door with a hacksaw. It clings to your body like a second skin. Make sure your shower door's bottom is completely clean. Depending on the size of the gap under your door, closing the door may be a little tighter at first. Wet the curb to help lubricate the sweep until it gets used to it.
When I went to Lowe's to buy a shower door sweep, I was surprised to learn that they were $18. 99 each! For $17, I was able to obtain three of them. 99 here- They're identical, and I'm set for the rest of my life! Win!.
I've discovered that over the course of several months, soap scum accumulates on these. To me, it's worth it to simply remove the old one and replace it - Once you've trimmed it to length, it'll only take you a minute. That's something I do with a hacksaw. It's a lot less work than cleaning the old one.
After about three years, the original sweep started to rip apart. So far, this has been a significant improvement. Outside the door, the puddles have been kept at bay. I'm not sure how long it'll last, but for a three-pack, it's well worth the money.
These appear to be the same as the ones used by the shower installers when I had my shower installed. After a few years, the lower sweep becomes worn out and needs to be replaced. This pack was reasonably priced and of high quality.
The original shower door sweeps had become disgustingly filthy, so these are replacements. Because our shower doors are all different widths, they fit perfectly and were simple to cut to size.
Very simple to put together, I cut it with some shears I had on hand, and it fits perfectly.
