Despite using the hair oil, I still felt as if my hair had too much build-up. Reviewers gave this filter high reviews, so I decided to give it a try. Oh my god. I think it's amazing. In the summer of 2013, I purchased the chrome housing with two 12-stage filters for my shower filter. My eldest daughter suggested I use the 15 stage, which is the same size as the older model, but I didn't know if it would fit. After I removed the shower sprayer and the filter housing, all I had to do was clean it. Remove the old filter cartridge and replace it with a new one, then close it back up and reinstall it. Because I am on city water, I can't tell the difference between using a filter and not using one, but I can tell the difference when I use the 15 stage as opposed to the 12 stage.
