It really excels at filtering my shower water. I've been using the GE shower filter system for several years. These replacements were sold at a better price, so I decided to test them out. Although the fit is exactly the same as the GE filters, after a few weeks, I don't feel that they quite filter the water as well as they did before. We see a slight difference in the dryness of the air following contact with the water, but not much. Overall, I like them, but I suspect I will benefit more from the GE model.
In the recent past, I bought this product to replace the GE filter that came with my original air conditioner. It took me a matter of moments to install the filters once they were opened and found them well-made and easy to install. I must suggest this particular brand to anyone interested in a cheaper alternative to the higher priced filter packages.
It was a great day. There was nothing negative to be said. They do their jobs according to the rules.
For the price, it is pretty good, but the chlorine made it through the filter and I can feel it tingling my skin under there. In general, there's not a lot there, but the price is good.
The product is a perfect fit and looks like the original, but at a reasonable price.
It is easy to install, makes a big difference in the shower, and I am glad to have subscribed to it.
It is easy to install and costs a third of what the brand-name product does. Those who perform well are successful.
This item did not come with documentation that clearly showed its ability to filter chlorine and the extent to which it was effective. In addition to the product, the GE FXSCH has a page that provides information on Chlorine filtering. This page includes the following information Using the original filter, you can determine substances, concentrations of contaminating particles, maximum permissible concentrations of production water, reduction requirements, minimum reduction requirements and average reduction rates. As this information has been omitted from the Aquacrest, one has to wonder how it arrived there. Do you have a filter that filters Due to this, I docked it two stars, which is generous in my opinion. A GE filter is intended to reduce chlorine, so omitting any information related to Aquacrest's chlorine mitigation properties is a major omission that raises questions about the effectiveness of the Aquacrest filter.
