What we thought it would be was exactly as it turned out to No big fanfare, but it worked well and was exactly what we needed since we already had a Delta mixing value configured. This is not the case. The details state that "UNXB*****" is needed, that is the valve, so you should purchase it as well. As I did not realize it came with a valve cartridge until it was too late to order one or return the kit, I couldn't get a replacement or either. The set had to be replaced in its entirety.

Installed a new valve for a Moen Chateau faucet that was not able to handle high temperatures. With the delta universal valve, I was able to control my water pressure. Despite the fact that the Trim kit came with a cartridge, it fitted perfectly. A positive feature of this cartridge is its ability to adjust the height of the hot water. So that my daughters could not turn it up to the heat setting, there is just a slight drop in the temperature. Because the cartridge could have been made from a stronger material, I gave it four stars. There was no doubt in my mind that I could break it.
