It isn't made of metal at all. I suppose it depends on the size of your pets. They'll eventually scratch their way through it, or if they're strong enough, they'll push it out. It's merely a standard window display.

I used it to replace the screens on my sliding garage door that had become worn and torn. It is extremely simple to operate. I'm not sure how long it will last, but I expect it to be a long time.

The product was delivered in a large roll that could be easily unrolled and installed. I used a roller for installation and a sharp razorblade to clean up the excess for the first time ever putting a screen into a frame and had no problems. The screen is a solid matt black that is easy to see through, and the camera struggles to even pick up the material in my photo. There are no odors or visible flaws. It's a lot of screen, and the roll could be used to make a lot of windows.

It's simple to work with, and once installed, it looks fantastic. My Mother's mobile home windows had screens that needed to be replaced, and I was able to do so. I trimmed the excess screen away from the frames with an Exacto knife.
