No, I don't think this would keep your "girls" safe because it's made of fabric. I'd go for a small-sized vehicle. A woven section of galvanized steel hardware cloth with a mesh size of about 1/4 inch would be ideal. That size mesh is used to keep other "chewing" creatures out of decks, attic eaves (to keep squirrels and other critters out), and gardens - akin to rabbits Walmart has some reasonably priced small rolls; there's nothing wrong with Amazon's Amagbeli brand (I use it in various sizes for animal pens and it's a good product), but the rolls are large and expensive, so it's not cost effective unless you want to build a larger pen or do other home projects.

So, first and foremost, let me tell you about the product: so far, I've had two cats climb the screen door. The first time I used it was several hours after it had been installed. I couldn't stop myself from yelling at her. When they climbed it, I could see huge openings. "That's $40 dollars down the drain," I thought to myself. "But then I was able to watch as the holes gradually filled in. It's similar to the mesh wires found on tennis rackets. You can separate them and then bring them back together. I'm assuming there's some wiggle room in there. I'm never going to buy another screen. There are a couple of drawbacks, but they won't detract from the ability to withstand my little hellions. It was a pain to set up. br>br> This is a thick, stiff substance. It's not quite the same as installing a regular screen, but it's a lot more convenient now that it's been used. I understand why, and I appreciate it. I had to take turns putting it in our sliding door with my husband. I used a 125-inch spline and it fit perfectly; if you use a thicker spline, you may have issues, which I believe is why some people complained that it was difficult to install. If you have a good quality spline roller, you should have no problems; the entire door took me about 30 minutes to complete. Don't waste your money on one of those cheap plastic spline rollers; you'll be disappointed, especially if it breaks. br>I also like how it dims the brightness of the daylight coming in. This is a much darker screen than you're used to. If that doesn't appeal to you, I recommend you look elsewhere. I'll update as time goes on to see how long this pet screen lasts.
Our cat kept escaping the traditional screen that came with our pool enclosure, so we had to purchase this one. Our cat hasn't been able to break out of the pet-rated screen yet, despite his best efforts. He can stick his claws into the screen, but he can't make anything bigger than tiny holes, as you can see in the pictures. After he moves the claw marks on the screen, he can shift them back into place. We've been using this screen for a few months now to make sure our cat can't get out, and I think we've succeeded! We had some difficulty finding the right size spline to go with it, but once we did, it was relatively simple to install. It is unquestionably a two-way street. If you have a pet who likes to break out of screens, the screen is well worth the money.
