Yes, but it's not difficult at all. To put the screen in place, open the window and place it inside the window frame. Close the window down to the top of the screen after extending the screen into the window frame on both sides. It'll stay put until you're ready to take it out.
The frames aren't flexible at all; they're rigid. In order to fit the window, you must also be able to expand and contract slightly. Bending the screen would result in gaps and slack.
Rain will not be able to enter through this fiberglass screen.

The first one, on the other hand, worked flawlessly. The second one wouldn't shut the window, so I spent ten minutes trying to figure out what was blocking it before it finally fell out, falling 18 stories and landing on a ledge 30 feet up. As a result, I'm in desperate need of a replacement. Is it possible for you to sell something like. . . Is it only one of them? One that actually works so I don't kill someone by slamming a window screen on them? That would be fantastic.
We have a screen on the outside of the window already, but this is for safety reasons. This replaced two others that we purchased years ago (10?) from a brick and mortar store of a different brand. ) that were vinyl-framed and well-made. Unfortunately, the only units available in local home stores are shoddy wood framed units with bare metal protruding from the corners and screens that are poorly attached. I was on the verge of cutting myself while checking out one of them. These, the Fenestrelle screens, were available on Amazon, and after seeing some photos of actual users, I ordered two. These are excellently made and fit perfectly, with a good seal around the edges thanks to the use of a soft material gasket along the top and bottom. It is strongly suggested!.
I didn't have any regular screens, so I needed something that was simple to put up and take down. These screens are ideal!br>They are clean, sturdy, and light. They are superior to any of my home's original screens. The design is excellent for allowing fresh air in while maintaining a tight seal on the sides to prevent bugs from entering. They went above and beyond my expectations.
Of course, we have screens on all of our windows, but we have a curious cat who has issues with anything he can't get to outside. LOLbr>I can put these screens in the window, which will put them in front of the actual screen, and he will be able to enjoy the outside without destroying my screens. Thank you, these are fantastic, and the screen material is thick enough that he hasn't been able to claw his way through them. yet.
These are fantastic displays. They work well and get the job done. Some of the features I like about them are that they are flush on the top and bottom, eliminating any unevenness and preventing bugs from entering. There is also felt all around the edge, top, bottom, and sides, ensuring that it is snug and without gaps. It's perfect for older buildings that don't have screens on the windows. These are highly recommended.
This is the ideal screen to keep my cat from destroying my window screen.
I work in a downtown city building that is more than a century old and has had only minor renovations. As a result, my windows do not have screens. The problem is that my windows are two stories above the alley dumpsters, so I get a lot of bugs flying in when the windows are open in the summer (which other rooms don't). br>br>These monitors are a lifesaver. To cover the window width, I'll need two of them horizontally (one is only 4 inches short on its own). So four of them are ideal for two windows. They're very simple to adjust horizontally (I haven't tried vertically yet), and they're also very simple to put in and take out of the window. They are also incredibly light. Overall, I'm not sure why I didn't get them sooner!.
These screens were exactly what I needed to keep the windows open while keeping my cat safe.
