It appears to be made of polypropylene, as it is molded rather than woven. It's finer than most, but not quite as fine as my Milgard windows' clearview screens. Overall, it appears to be a good monitor.

I created a video that demonstrates how to repair. I've worked in the construction industry for over 15 years and believe this product is excellent in terms of performance and installation. This product was used to repair a screen, and I made a video to demonstrate how to do so.
I recently re-read a book. I had previously screened my entire house with another brand, but the other roll I had purchased was only 36 inches wide, so I purchased a small roll of this brand to replace my larger sliding door. I figured I'd be okay because the price was lower and the reviews were positive. Unfortunately, I was extremely dissatisfied with the product; first and foremost, the screen contains numerous flaws. There appear to be some twisted lines. Second, it was much more brittle and flimsy than the other brand; I had no trouble installing the others, but this one seemed to be on the verge of breaking all the time. This product is not one I would recommend, but I am hoping it will last.
I didn't know which brand or type was the best, so I took a chance and bought a single roll, which was enough to replace one of my sun porch windows. After our cat destroyed a few of our screens, I decided to try replacing the screen on one window to see if I could do it myself before ordering eight more rolls. It's incredibly simple to set up, and I believe almost anyone could do it. I removed the old spline from the frame, used the old screen as a size guide when cutting the new one, and pushed the spline into the groove with the wheel tool. It functions flawlessly, looks fantastic, and is crystal clear, just as I had hoped. I've already placed an order for the remaining eight rolls and am looking forward to installing them all. I also ordered the spline kit, which came with three different sizes of spline rolls, which I recommend if you're not sure what size you need. Mine turned out to be a. If you're on the fence about doing it yourself, pick up a roll and try it out. It's simple, and the finished product resembles what our windows looked like when they were installed. Because this is the first time I've rescreened an item, I didn't want to be frustrated by folds and wrinkles, so I bought this screen. This screen has a nice, smooth feel to it. Because I just installed it, I can't speak to its durability, but make sure you get the right size spline and spline roller tool. I reused the spline, but the spline roller I bought was a little too big for the groove, and I sliced the screen 1/2 inch trying to force it in. I patched it up without difficulty, and the tear was caused by my ineptness rather than the screen's quality. It was a good lesson.

For the past five years, I've been living with a shattered screen in my son's room, dreading the expense of having it repaired. I found out that I might be able to fix it myself thanks to a bored day on YouTube. And it was incredibly simple. br>br>I replaced one bedroom window, a camper door screen, and a camper bedroom screen with this roll of screen. Just get the tool. (One was dogs, and the other was invasive furry critters) I also put the black stuff back in my curew t windows. I had no intention of doing so, but the food I had ordered was far too thick. If anything goes wrong, I'll post an update, but for now, it's 1. It's been 5 months and you still look great!.
Visibility has gotten a whole lot better - From inside the house, you have a much better view of what's outside, and the screen is much less visible from outside the house, so the windows appear to be more appealing from the street. Being slimmer - The thinner gauge material makes it a little more fragile, but this isn't a problem if you don't have any pets or children who might try to punch holes in the screens. Installing this screen material is no more or less difficult than installing other screen materials.
It was a simple and quick process to replace the screen. It was a completely different story with the screen door I replaced. You can use one roll of screen for a couple or a few windows with windows, but you'll need the entire roll to replace a sliding door screen. And please, please, please don't cut your screen halfway up the screen door with your screen tools. ugh! To avoid the pain and suffering caused by my error, order two rolls. I'll definitely be placing another order!.
Although the screen is more transparent than their standard model, some people may not notice the difference. Because the individual wires are thinner, it's easier to tear the screen while pressing it into the spline and after it's been installed, but this is merely a side effect of the increased transparency. It's just something to think about when selecting a product. This was used on two windows with a good view, and the standard mesh was used on the rest of my windows.
