The screen mesh is of reasonable quality, but I was disappointed to discover that it did not extend for a full 100 feet. I'm not sure how long it is (I'm not measuring it), but if it's 100 feet long, it should be in one piece. br>br>I did figure out a good way to put screens up. According to what I've read, you tape it in place while installing the spline. It didn't work out. Tape didn't stick for some reason, either because it was too slick or because there wasn't enough room for it to stick. So I cut several 2 inch pieces of old spline and used them to hold it in place while I inserted the new spline, then I simply removed the 2 inch pieces when I was finished. Even when there was a lot of wind, it worked. Even though the roll was not continuous, I would buy this screen mesh again. I was able to find a use for the small scrap, so it wasn't a complete waste. I was only surprised by the seller's lack of forewarning.
We used it as the roof of a greenhouse so that the plants would get rainwater and we wouldn't have to water as much. It's long-lasting and reasonably priced, and I believe it'll do the job perfectly; it's exactly what we needed.
They were in a lot of pain, and some of them were in bad shape. We replaced every screen at both locations and still have plenty left over in case of any mishaps; our other screens were silver in appearance. This is a dark color. I think they look great, and since we've only had them up for a month or so, I can't say how long they'll last; however, if they last as long as the previous ones, that will be fantastic.
We used it to screen in our covered patio, and so far I'm very pleased with it. It has become a haven for my family, where we spend more time together than we do at home. So far, the screen appears to be durable (the cat has attempted to climb it, and the dog has pawed at it, and there is no discernible damage). This screen, which measures 4 feet by 100 feet, is well worth the investment. And I had it shipped by USPS two days before Memorial Day, assuming that even though it said delivery Sunday, it would arrive on Tuesday, but it arrived on Sunday. So, not only is this a fantastic product, but it's also a fantastic seller.
I'm able to put them to good use. The price-to-value ratio appealed to me. I've been using it in the garden to provide temporary shade for plants that have been exposed to excessive heat. Also, by removing panels and adding screens to the green house, it can be kept cooler. Will also be used as a window screen replacement.
EASY INSTALLATION is an advantage.
Animals jumping and creating a way in for the many insects we deal with necessitated the replacement of the screening. It was exactly what I expected.
There are a lot of screens! It's enough to last a lifetime, and it's a great deal.
