For you to get a feel for the size, you can see it going through a chainlink fence. Perhaps on that question, I will squeeze the loop since it is so hard.
This doesn't make any sense to me. It is very sturdy cable, and I'm sure of that. The lock I use to anchor the loops is really important to me, so I hate losing its key. There is no way for me to open this. The following is an adaptation of Ed B.'s original.

Since this is clearly implied by the description, I confirmed that I had received what I had You can insert one end through a hole down to about a 1", but both must be at least one inch apart A bit of effort can result in 1/4 inch. It does not matter that it is 3/8 inches. By passing one end through the other end's loop, the choker will be formed. As before, this is a very light duty project. There is only minimal protection provided by this. The positive aspect of this product is its lightweight and flexibility. It appears that the crimps have been very well sealed. Although it is very thin, cable protection coatings provide some degree of protection. My only wish was that it were a little thicker so that corrosion and abrasion would be less harmful. A light-duty cable with minimal protection, this is generally suitable for most situations. If it doesn't have any tools or the will to steal your stuff, it will probably only stop someone who has a limited motivation to steal your stuff. A cable cutter can almost effortlessly cut through this with minimal effort. For my application, I was down to my last few options without having to make an investment in a heavier product. A cable like this would be perfect for the job. Prices are a bit high for what you get, but they are about on par with similar products. In a perfect world, I would buy again, but only at a discount.

A cable of this type would be described as heavy duty. Using a serious padlock, I'm securing a pasture gate with it. Several kids from the neighborhood have recently tried to come see the horses in my pasture. With a chain attached to the gate, I will secure it twice rather than have them arrested at 11. The two covers (one at the bottom and one at the top) haven't crimped or shown any signs of It's not a perfect solution but it works for me and I think our kids need to learn.
I like that it does what it is supposed to do. If you want in, you're getting in, but it serves as a decent deterrent to devious individuals. Since I've had it in the elements for six months, it looks just as good as new.
Cables of this strength are hard to come by. In fact, it turned out to be more than I had anticipated when I purchased it. Nonetheless, this is probably a good thing from the point of view of security. A 10mm lens like this isn't a bad choice, but I would never buy anything less than 8mm. Whenever I'm on the job site, I put it into my Nanuk (hard plastic) case to lock it. Remember to always carry a pair of wire snips with you as any size cable can easily be hacked with them. They simply take longer to cut when they are thicker.
We use it to lock down our propane tanks. This is super tough and rubber covered, but thick enough to need a big cutter and lots of strength to cut.
I didn't expect it to be so thick. If it were more flexible, I would give it 5 stars.
I think that's good enough. I thought it was quite expensive for a cable that cost $2.
