Questions & Answers

The loop can be applied to individual Milwaukee packouts, but will it fit them all?

Basically, I'm not exactly sure what ur asking. The loops are pretty big, and the cable is very long, so it all depends how or what you plan to attach it to.

Can you tell me how large the yellow tubing is?

The one I have does not have a It's my fault.

The loop ends will they fit through the holes in the kayak scupper?

There seems to be a problem with the kayak scupper holes being too small to accommodate the loop end. The cable should be used with an adapter that will fit through the holes, this will allow the stronger cable to be used.

Where the loop and the plastic part meet, what is the width of that part? On the lock is the word "master lock.". I would greatly appreciate it if you could. ?

That's probably about half an inch, and BTW this lock is completely awesome and totally worth the purchase.

It can be used against only the most casual The most casual of thieves will not be fooled by it
3/5

It all comes across in the picture. The cut is nice and clean. Do yourself a favor and look for a kevlar lock if you care about your bike. A crew of thieves left my bike unattended last night with an Ottolock in it. That's all I have to say.

There is a bike I have that is fairly expensive
5/5

To be clear, this is not for sketchy areas and it is not intended for When you want to go into a store, or use the bathroom, this lock allows you to lock up your bike. Despite the difficulties, it is better than nothing. Of that there can be no doubt. In my opinion, I think I would have difficulty carrying enough locks in my bag to feel completely In order to insure my bike, I added it to A feeling of peace.

I personally use mine when I'm camping in a state or federal park I loop it around or underneath one of the tire treads. You can lock up the seat as well after you have snaked it through the frame. Having peace of mind is just what I need. A camping ground is less likely to have people walking around with bolt cutters, so you shouldn't worry about your bike being taken. This cable seems heavy duty, it is covered with a nice thick rubber so that it won't scratch your bike or rust, and the loops on the cable are large enough to allow the ends to pass through. 15 feet is how tall it is. This is an inexpensive and convenient way to carry supplies. Locking up tires, seats, whatever, to an object tree that cannot be removed, etc. should take long enough. You know, etc. There's plenty of room for everyone! The cons not secure as a U-shaped device I like how heavy this lock is. Do you think it's better than a U-shaped What's the lock? It is not a good idea! You can use a U-turn while looking for a place to park, but you should also think about where you CAN park Lock of the bolt type. There are no bike racks at the hotel, so you can use the U-shaped stairs It is useless to use bolts. Then you must know what your risks are. I was wondering how sketchy the area you are locking up your bike was. You might want to lock up your bike for how long you think you'll be gone. It is a routine kind of biker, like a job, that has an EVERYDAY routine. The place to be every day, Monday through Friday It seems like you always lock your bike up for 8 hours on Friday. You can go shopping for hours if you want. A public parking garage is also a good option if you plan to park it overnight. That's a definite Make sure you get an U It's time to bolt! Since I travel to many different places, I do not have a regular routine. In addition, I rarely leave my bike (unattended) for hours at a time. I have no issue with this lock! It just makes the bike thief work harder. Any lock can be cut, it's just a matter of time before they are caught. The truth is that we live in a world that is constantly changing. It's likely for a thief to steal your bike if it's valuable to them. As much as I hate to say it, it's true. A theft insurance policy is a good idea if your bike is worth more than 2500 dollars. In any case, I lock mine up with a padded all-weather bag There is a lock on bus 701B. Make sure your bike is locked properly the last thing you want is a lock that freezes and you have to look for a way to cut through You should lubricate locks and clean them often to keep them in good condition. Make sure you get a weather lock if your bike does not come with Additionally, it would be better to go for a lighter lock that can be locked up to an easy to cut cable rather than a heavy lock. Any lock will work, so pretty much any one will do. In the same manner, thieves will not target a weak For an 80 dollar cable lock you will not be able to make it more secure by buying a lock.

A great way to lock up a couple For a sense of security, we bought these to lock up our kayaks in the backyard
5/5

Even though we live in a safe neighborhood, you never know what will happen in In addition to the Master Lock keyed lock that we used for locking them up, we ran the cable through both hand holes plus the area where the Kayaks are tarped and covered. Keeping them dry and secure from just a random thief is a must. Even though it states the cable is saw proof and cutter proof, I'm sure a good pair of bolt cutters would be able to cut through it. Despite the fact that you can never be 100% certain, this works well to deter theft. While on vacation, we might need to use this cable to secure our kayaks to a roof rack as well! A plastic coating on the cable will help scrape any vehicle surface, and the cable itself is flexible so it can fit through small gaps and be used to scrape any surface.

This seems to be a pretty easy thing My wife's bike and her sons' bikes will be able to be secured on our front porch with these
3/5

Despite feeling strong, it seems some thieves cut through the cable with bolt cutters last night and my wife's bike is now (

Apparently it is all for show.

Insuring items are secure in a covered truck bed
5/5

My truck bed has been covered for years so I needed this strong cable for locking items in the In my truck bed, I used this to secure my two generators and spare propane tank on a cross-country trip. My gear is hidden under a metal bed cover, so I don't have to see it. Thieves aren't likely to steal stuff they aren't able to see. My bed cover and the cable can be mangled, but they're not likely to steal the stuff they can't You would not cut the cable by opening the cover without it being known to me and the dog.

The exterior finish on this cable is very nice
5/5

There is nothing cheap about this cable. It is made very well and is very durable. By using this cable, I am able to secure my belongings that are on the roof rack of my 4runner so that they cannot be stolen. My favorite feature of this cable is its exterior finish it's made of some kind of flexible plastic that won't scratch Inside the metal cable is a very strong material, and there is no sign yet of a As with any outdoor project, I keep it outside in harsh weather we constantly face, whether it's freezing temps or a very scorching hot sun that bakes things fast. I've made sure to strap it down under high tension and the cable has yet to snap. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a good security cable.

With a flexible length, this bike carrier is great for multi-bike transportation
5/5

this same cable from Kryptonite and liked the flexibility of the braid over the standard twisted cable, but it was too short for my purposes and they don't make a longer cable for a reasonable price (that I could locate). Due to a few reviews, I was cautious about how flexible this cable would be. However, I soon got over that As something comparable to Kryptonite, this cable is flexible (such as a Kryptonite cable) and very well protected with a vinyl coated cable and plastic coated crimps to ensure there are no exposed metals that might damage hardware. There are two- I load one- There are three bikes on my hitch rack or in the back of my truck, and this cable interweaves through all of the frames and wheels for an easy, positive locking system with a quality padlock to a somewhat-firm base. The doors are bolted securely My truck has a connector that I can use. It only acts as a deterrent, as all good cables do With the right tools, it can be cut, but only to a certain level of security That is all I need, however. For people who wish to secure their bicycles to a rack outside and use them inside to travel to work or school, this is not optimal on its own, but in combination with a bicycle rack It has an immovable rack and a lock (for the frame).
