Having been warned, you must heed this warning. This review is being updated after being revised on November 23, 2018. I used BOTH cable locks the first time I tried them and BOTH As a matter of fact, I would rate zero stars if I could. I don't think these locks are worth anything. You should save your money and buy something else instead. There is nothing worse than these. If Masterlock decides to use this lock with its name, I strongly suggest they reconsider it. In all my years of owning locks, this is the worst. A review of an older version In order to secure my trail cams, I use the Python locks. As a rule, I love this kind of stuff. The cable of this lock is considerably smaller than the cable of a regular A second difference is that they each have a different key! Do not buy this Python, and instead get the one with the longer.

Ensures that your game cameras remain attached to your tree when you place them on it with this lock. This lock was bought because the same key worked for both locks, therefore it deserves a higher rating - in other words, it is exactly what I wanted from a keyed alike lock pack. Unfortunately, they were not keyed in the same way.

Locks of this type are lightweight and have a small Trail cameras can be attached to trees easily with this product. The tree stand clamp is also well suited to secure medium size tree trunks to tree stands. The fact that they are all keyed the same is convenient. I am not sure what the lock's strength will be because the key is so small. This is defiantly a deterrent for people who may wish to take something that might be found unlocked in the woods.

I used these two cables with trail cameras for a few months during the As expected, one of them worked. It was impossible for the other to I saw my options were limited, so I broke the key in the lock by forcing the key into the lock, forcing me to cut the cable in order to retrieve the cam. The cable had to be cut five hours away from my home in the mountains, so I was lucky to have a wire cutover on my vehicle. As a result of the small diameter it wasn't an issue, but owing to the hassle and the incompatibility, the product failed in every way. This product might be better left unsold.

In addition to the 6 trail cameras I own, I use these for night vision. Due to the fact that the keys all look the same but are cut differently, finding the right key for the right lock can be difficult. In addition, the locks will freeze, which makes it difficult or impossible to open them.
