I have not yet installed them, but they appear to be identical to what I have previously used. I'll update the review if there are any major inconsistencies, which I don't expect at first glance. br>br>Update 09/15/20: I've used these a couple of times since buying them and I really like them. Makes any bolt-on project easier and gives it a nice, factory-like appearance. With a couple of removals and bolting back on items, they've held up well, with no stripping or significant torque required. They're 6 millimeter thread inserts that aren't designed for towing or anything like that; use caution. This is a purchase I would recommend.
For a Nissan 240, these were perfect for bolting on quarter panel covers. With the astro gun, installation is a breeze.
It took me a long time to get around to using them, but they're fantastic. I must caution you to be cautious when starting the bolt because even a minor cross threading renders them useless.
They're Rivnuts in a bag, and Astro Pneumatic never lets you down!.
These are far superior to the $50 alternative. At Napa, you can get a 00 box. The flange sticks up a little higher than the nutserts, but they don't get pushed through the sheet metal by accident. These are more torque-resistant than some of the others I've tried.
I also got a hand of the tool, which is a great addition to your garage and has fewer uses!.
It worked, but it was very easy to strip. If you're only going to install a bolt once, it should be fine. The installation went smoothly.
