How long does this speed nut have to be? I don't see any options for different lengths, nor does the length specified appear to be available. ?

On my 97 Chevy Blazer, one of the U nuts had broken. NUT, FRT S/ABS(M8X1) NUT, FRT S/ABS(M8X1) NUT, FRT S/ 25,11. 1)(U- Part 15658213 of the National Uniform Technical Standards (NUT). Will this suffice as a substitute?

I used them on my 2014 Chevy Silverado and they worked great; just remember that this is a metric thread, so metric bolts are fine. If not, well, it depends on the application, but I purchased bolts from Home Depot. This is more durable and long-lasting than factory-made. I hope this has been of assistance.

Although it is preferable to measure, if you are unable to do so, I ordered these in metric to replace Jeep nuts, but be aware that different "throat" depths are available

We ended up with some that were a little too long but still worked perfectly. You'll have serious issues if you order them too short. It's best to measure, but if that's not possible, go with the longer option. Excellent quality, reasonable price, and prompt delivery.
