The cage nuts are initially difficult to attach to rails, but with the help of a flat-head screwdriver, they can be done. The angle of the head screwdriver is crucial. These are reasonably priced and can withstand a lot of torque without stripping.
This is a good product, though the cage bolts are a little tight for my taste. You either like it or you don't like it that way. On the plus side, they stay firmly in place in the rack and do not move around when racking equipment. The disadvantage is that because they are so small, they are difficult to install in the rack. I've used both types of cage bolts, and I prefer them a little looser so that they can be installed by hand without the use of tools, but that's just me. Very well constructed and appears to be strong, and the black color matches and blends in well. Excellent customer service from the company, who were very pleasant and helpful. I'd make another purchase.
This set of screws was ideal for the job I was doing. I wouldn't use them for heavy equipment (3U or larger), but they were perfect for my 1U Switch.
Work was completed exactly as described. We haven't had any problems with them, unlike some other brands. They're perfectly sized for racks, and the screw threads are functional. Isolators are included in the package.
