In my opinion, it seems to be very durable and will be able to withstand the elements without any problem. There are no seams and it is all made from a very tough material.

Let me start by pointing out that it arrived very fast. I expected delivery to be almost two weeks, but I received it within two A second benefit is the excellent value for the price. I really love how easy it is to set up and how great it looks. It was a pleasure to do business with you. Excellent product that I would.
It is solidly constructed, looks good, and I had to shave down an old wooden post that needed to be made into four 4X4 squares to replace the thicker one. It was easy after that, just slide the new post over the old post and screw the new one in. Honestly, the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because of the black screws on the sides, which are supposed to be decorative but are not. This post does not have them in the other design it only has them on the cross-arm design. A white cap should be affixed to the holes to cover them. Apart from that, I am happy with the price. Hopefully it will continue to be affordable.
The big disappointment for me was that the "stone" part at the bottom looked completely plasticky and fake, like a toy for children. The idea of having it in front of our yard made my family feel uncomfortable. So I ordered from Amazon rust-oleum's stone texture paint in the color pebble, and sprayed that on its I was blown away by how much difference it made. Upon close inspection, it is obvious that it is plastic, but from a distance, the difference does not seem as severe. In theory, this product should come with some texture already applied like that, but with a little work you can fix that.
Getting it set up is really not all that complicated - you just have to do a few things. Slide it over the preset 4x4 and screw in the lag bolts, and then attach the mail box in the manner of your choice. There was absolutely no problem lining up the mount with a new mailbox and it was extremely easy to do. It takes a little time for everything to line It is important that you make sure that the size of your hole or concrete footprint if you use this one to install the faux brick base is large enough to accommodate. There is a tiny bit more to it than a regular mailbox post. I just got lucky that my hole was big enough that I could fit it on the concrete I put in. Whether you go for the cross arm or upper lag bolt version, always leave at least 45 inches above ground if you get the 4x4. I noticed that the bolts on that second post were higher than the bolts on other posts I looked at in In fact, I did my own post without ordering it or looking at directions, and I cut it to a different length than my neighbor. Although the product is not at all guilty, I just hadn't seen this one yet and ordered it after the fact. All I did was countersink 4 deck screws (one per side) onto the original 4x4, then slid the mailbox over and used In the directions it's clearly stated how much above ground to leave, I wasn't sure, so make sure you leave enough above ground so you can get the job done. Hope it lasts as nice as it does now and you have no problems with it. Your 4x4 should be about 69" long (24" in the hole and 45" above).
UPS lost the return, so the return wasn't very easy to make. My funds were immediately refunded when the company found the mistake. The picture shows the box as it is still being constructed, but what struck me was that, though it is a larger box, it is not unusual. In addition to the cross arm, the front third of the box extends beyond it. Rather than mounting through the bottom, this box is mounted on the side with screws. A full inch of space between the box and the mounting plate (which is made of plastic) was visible when I placed the box on top. Due to the mounting plate not being removable, I couldn't drill holes in the box and use the provided machine screws, of which I could only insert two due to the cross arm covering the other two. Finally, this is in a small town with a wooded area. I do not want the white to stand out more than it does. The idea of painting it actually crossed my mind. It would be nice if you had more color options.
It took me no time to install it once I received it in the mail. A 4x4 anchor post was used by my husband, and he had it in place within 30 minutes max. As we installed it, a number of neighbors stopped while driving by to ask where we found it, and were enchanted with the farmhouse look it provided. Anybody would be well advised to buy this product. Here are the results of my three tests My search for a mailbox has already brought me to four other mailboxes, and I'm glad I kept looking until we found Despite the fact that it is plastic, I know we can use it for many years to come.
I used a level to make sure it was straight up and down. After the cement had set, I put up a small square form, and then I poured the footing. Used my chainsaw to mount the post while the cement was still wet and it neatly sealed the bottom. I checked the instructions for proper post height and used my chainsaw to mount the molded post while the cement was still wet. It took me less than two minutes to mount my mailbox to the adapter and slide it into Taking the time to set up was no problem, and it looked.
I'll post a picture as soon as we get it finished. As you can see in the picture it looks really fake and plastic. I just wished they added just a bit more texture to it as shown in the picture but I'm still loving it and plan to paint it myself to make it look more like how I want.
