As far as I know, EZ-Drive does not exist locks are surprisingly popular, however, I have seen only two types of closet locks in my experience those that open with a round pin head type opener and those that open with a flat head type opener of about 1/8 inch. A spring loaded push button lock can be unlocked using the round type. These are flatheads that are used to open locks with horizontal tabs that need to be turned to set. They are flat-head keys, approximately 1/8 inch in width and with a thin shaft, as opposed to a screwdriver of the same width that tapers out. You can easily open you closet by breaking off a straight section of your metal coat hanger and inserting it into your closet. When the key does not operate as a round shaft key as soon as the tip is inserted in the hole, use a vise grip pliers or something similar to The flattening and smoothing process may take some effort, but if enough flattening and smoothing is done, it will work similarly to these openers. Yes, it is crude, but it should work or at least provide data on whether these initiatives will or won't
These keys are mine to use at the place where I am staying & a hotel room key is mine to use at the place where I am staying & With mine, I can lock the door as well as open it from
The Schlage locks cannot be opened by these tools.
The mechanisms are actually turned by these. Rather than using a button, my interior doors are designed to operate with a turn lock. Locks that have push buttons and turn dials can be unlocked with this key. There is a flat edge on the top (like a tiny flat head screw driver) which can be used to turn the mechanism.

So I bought these. I like that she has a door lever that makes it easy for my 2-year-old to enter. Having bought the keys, I can now make sure that my 9-year-old keeps the door locked when she is not in the room and at I don't know why, but my 2-year-old will go into her sister's room as soon as I take a shower or just use the bathroom for a minute. Thankfully, this is no longer the case. Added to that, one time the bathroom door had been locked for four days because I couldn't get it open with a bobby pin, which usually Having a second bathroom and the keys to this apartment are great. When you have multiple, you can just put them over the front door so they are accessible and not lost. If this article was helpful to you, please press the "Helpful" I appreciate your help.
The LEDs have saved my life, not in the literal sense, but in the sense that they've been moderately convenient and thus suited me. It has a slot where these should go as my bedroom doorknob has one. As for my mom babysitting 7 devil children who scream and cause ravage in our home whenever she comes to visit me, I find it great that I can finally lock my door once in a while. Having one of them lock themselves in the bathroom, which can also be opened with these, is also helpful. Do you think I could solve all of my problems by replacing the lock/doorknobs on our house? I think so. Can I save money and time by doing it myself? Is this more convenient for my lazy self, sooner, and cheaper? Yes, I agree. The case for my position is now closed.
Unfortunately, it didn't work that well for my doors, but maybe I should have noted that my interior doors were not Kwiksets? My doorknob had a little round hole at the end and the flat part on the end didn't fit in it. It was pretty straightforward to get it to fit in the doorknob by smashing edge of flat part with hammer so that it was roughly the same width as the body of the key. I just wanted to let you know There was a lot of hammering involved in bending the key, it was made of good material. So far, I have only done one of the keys, and I do not plan on doing any more. It is a pain in the MekkaLekkaHiMekkaHineyHo to do all that hammering.
During the search, only one of these keys was found that could be used indoors, and it seemed like a good thing to have since we would check some doors regularly (like the pantry and A/C closet) to keep her out of trouble. Just one of those keys from the SAME brand is only $2 at Home Depot! In other words, this is definitely a good deal if you're the kind of person who prefers to have spares around. This is a great product that's easy to use and reliable! The next time I purchase, I will.
In addition, we can use it to lock him out of places we don't want him in. The locks on my older child's doors are the key to his happiness. It has been often that we have tried to negotiate with him so that he would This is something I just discovered and I My doors now have one above each one. We are able to use them with all of our interior doors in addition to the door leading to our The older sister has been locked out of her room (locking the door with our key in order to keep the other from getting in) and we close the door once we know he can't get in. I spent $4 on this and it is the best 4 dollars I have ever spent! A couple of the sets have mysteriously vanished, so I'll order a second set.
* However, when I received them, I realized I had wrongly searched for this job. *Not sure what brand the locks/handles are since the previous owners of the house installed them. I give it a 5 star rating because it was my fault. It's not possible to fit the shaft in the slot on our handles because it's about double the width as the flat tip on these keys. It'll be easier for me to grind them down if I grind them down myself. This is for anyone in a similar position to use if they need help.
I have a STRONG suggestion for you. The lock needs to be KWIKSET (which is stamped on the flat side of the lock on the inside of the It took me a few moments to get the knob to open because you have to insert the screw into the hole just right. If you have to get into the room quickly, you don't want to have to deal with it. It is recommended that you try it out as soon as you can, so that when you need to get into a room, it will take you only a few seconds to do so. The bottom line This is an excellent price for each of these items, and it works well. It only takes a few attempts to get it just right and it is very helpful to practice once you have it down. It has been a LONG time since I have ordered from you, but with all the locks I got (and I only have two doors that lock like this), I think I will be good for a long.
I have a few millimeters of trouble installing these because they are too large. Once I grind them down a bit, I should be good to go. It is a bit disappointing, however, to have to do so much extra work. The only thing that bothers me about these is that they are half the price of the keys that fit, so I suppose that is a fair Even so, if you are not one for grinding on things, you might want to make sure they fit before buying. In my rating, I have given these a 4 star as they are not compatible with all privacy lock knobs, otherwise, they would be a 5.
