These doorknobs are actually quite nice. They appear to be well-made and of a high standard. They're simple to put together and have a nice appearance. The finish scratches more easily than chrome, but that was to be expected with black. My only gripe is that two of my handles are missing hardware. I've contacted the seller twice and have received nothing but the runaround. Obviously, this situation will not occur in every case, but if it does, the only solution I can think of is to cancel the order entirely. I'd give this product five stars if it weren't for the poor customer service. I don't want to come across as Karen.
Two weeks later. They looked nice at first, but it's only been two weeks since they were installed, and the paint on the door handle we use frequently is peeling. I purchased the whole package! I'm upset because the product is expensive, and if I had purchased it from a local hardware store, I would have been able to return it after only one use. It isn't powder coated; it is simply painted. I would not recommend it.
I adore how sturdy, modern, and sleek they are. (I had to go out and buy the black hinges. ) )br>br>The only thing is that I can't use the piece that goes in the door frame by the border because it doesn't fit the already drilled holes, but I'm not sure if that's a personal issue or if it's a pack sizing issue. I received them in a timely manner thanks to Prime, and they were extremely durable as well as sleek and fashionable. I can't wait to install them on my new home's doors!.
Installing them was a breeze. My only gripe is that the plate that goes in the door jam isn't the same size as the one that already exists. I'm going to have to do some chiseling or go to Home Depot and look for a black one that will fit.
A minor rewrite is required. The product is of excellent quality. Heavily laden. My only complaint is that the design has a sharp edge to it. The design's squareness drew me in, so I ordered these. However, I believe that a slight radius could be added to the design to soften the sharpness of the handles when turned.
They're more gun metal than black, and the striker plates could be rounded to make installation much easier. For proper fitment, I had to chisel each door and jamb.
It's well-made and a good deal. To finish the project, I needed to purchase a few items from Kwikset, which are of comparable quality.
