Has the finish rubbed off after a few months for anyone?

Yes, and a few of them had to be replaced within the first year of use because they weren't working properly. This is typical Chinese garbage.

Will these fit into a circle precut door knob hole that already exists?

It is possible to use pre-cut materials. The striking plate that comes with the jamb is a complete waste of money. Metal that is too thin and too large to be pre-hung. The wood screws that come with them should not be used because the heads will snap under light pressure. I hope you found this information useful.

How can I make the door less noisy when I open it?

Mine was returned to me, haha.

These handles are extremely heavy and nice; I expected them to feel cheap and flimsy because they aren't a well-known brand, but I would buy them again and again! I'll say that because they're square, getting them perfectly level is difficult; in fact, depending on how your door is cut, they may not be level

Some of them are barely off, and no one except the installer would notice; in fact, I've already forgotten about it. I've had a lot of contractors in and out doing some light updating/remodeling, and ONE of the door handles has a tiny chip on it - Once things have calmed down, I'll give it a fresh coat of paint. Normally, matte black hardware shows a lot of scratches, but I haven't noticed any. All of these were installed with a drill by me (a young female), and they were essentially painless. Because the door jam plates didn't fit my frames, I spray painted the ones that were already there matte black. There are a few light scratching/rub marks here and there, but I can live with it. The doorknobs are stunning!.

They didn't have locks, which I didn't realize

I like the way they look, but I didn't realize they weren't locked. Only a few with locks are required in this bundle (for example, for a bathroom) - Because the holes didn't match up, I didn't use their hardware and had to replace the door.

These handles have left a lasting impression on me. I was hesitant to order them online because I was worried that they would appear and feel cheap. It's a metal handle with a lot of weight to it. They have a nice weight to them, and they look fantastic on my doors. It's unquestionably a good deal. Even better than I had hoped.

They are extremely durable, and installation takes exactly one minute. It gives my house a whole new look. They're a fraction of the price of a home improvement store. These are not going to let you down. Because the instructions were clearly not written by a native English speaker, you should be able to figure out how to install based on the pictures alone.

When you turned the handle to open the door, the latch did not retract completely

As a result, the door remained shut. It could have just been the one that was sent to me, but I didn't want to risk a replacement having the same problem, so I returned it.

Within a month of use, the paint on the door handles has worn off

The black paint starts to peel off after a while, which makes it look nice at first. The paint on these has started to peel after only a few months of use. Preparation was lacking. Dont buy.
