These brushed nickel levers have a nice look to them. I purchased a large quantity of knobs for a reasonable price to replace all of the unsightly brass knobs in the home we recently purchased. My only gripe is that the lock needs to be manipulated every now and then to get it to work, but only on a couple of occasions. It's not a big deal, but it may irritate some people. Aside from that, they look fantastic and were simple to put together.

Due to all the prep work, such as mortising the door, which had rounded rather than straight corners, this set took me 30 minutes to install. This doorknob was smooth to open and felt solid and sturdy. I prefer the handle because it is easier for the elderly, children, and the handicapped to open. Because there is a deadbolt installed separately, I chose the non-locking option. Take note of the two screws that will be used to secure the unit. I was looking for those screws, thinking they had been forgotten or that I had misplaced them in the midst of the chaos. No, they were placed there so that you could remove them and reinstall them later. The color is a nice match for all of the accents.

On both the door and the door jamb, you must MODIFY each Latch area. br>Also, the Door Handle's spring back isn't all that great. br>br>I'd give it a lower rating than 3 stars, but once installed, the sets appear to be solid, even if the handle spring back isn't great. I'm hoping it loosens up a little with time, but only time will tell. br>br>If you have a lot of time to install them, the cost savings might be worthwhile. However, with a total of 10 exterior and interior doors, any and all savings for this house will be wiped out.

The position of the lock is incorrect. The knobs are beautiful and functional, as they can be used on either right or left-hand doors. The only difference is that the lock is in the wrong position. When you move your head up and down, you're usually in locked mode. It's unlocked on these latches. It is also locked if the switch is in the horizontal position, which is normally unlocked. So, if you can look past the price, this is a good lock with a nice finish.

Very nice doorknobs. Lovely color, but after a few months, the handles frequently become stuck in the down position. It's necessary to return the handle to its original position. We had hoped that for the money, there would be no problems for at least a year. I'm torn between recommending these and not doing so! The installation went off without a hitch for hubby.

It has a significant impact. The quality is excellent. When installing, take care to ensure that the wave travels in the same direction. I'm realizing now that my husband hasn't been paying attention, so I'll have to go back and change a few things because I'm picky! We've purchased at least 40 of them!.

The machine screws were tightened (NOT OVERTIGHTENED) by cheap junk, and the soft steel was warped, causing the mechanism to "bind. " The end result is a lockset that is completely useless. I'm 62 years old, and I should have known better: you get what you pay for!.

I bought these because they were cheaper than Lowes, so I didn't expect them to be of high quality. When you try to lock or unlock the door, the basic turn portion of the handle catches. I spend far more time than is necessary attempting to get that thing to move.
