My husband worked as a contractor for many years and is now retired. He used to only use one of the more expensive phones. Our interior doors were recently refinished by him. During this time, all of the handsets were replaced. He considered this brand to be a great alternative to the more expensive handsets. br>br>Please keep in mind that our order was delayed. This ten-piece set is ordered in satin nickel with a locking mechanism. When my husband got to the last two boxes, he discovered that each one had a bronze finish lockset, one locking and one non-locking. Both are in use. The handsets were actually covered in paint. br>br>I made contact with the firm via Amazon. Photos that have been offered They requested photos of the handsets as well as copies of the label on the box's outside. The label was a little mangled, but it appeared that the entire set of ten had been returned by a private party (I was able to find out who it was). The entire set appeared to be shipped to us after someone at the return center simply slapped another label on it - maintaining the integrity of the original - We received it after he had sent it to us. br>br>Hubby br>br>Hubby br>br>Hubby I believe the person whose name appeared on the "from" section of the label purchased the set of ten, removed the two they wanted, and replaced them with their used handsets. For a full refund, I returned everything. br>br>However, none of this was due to the company's fault. Once the company had all of the photos, they arranged for the missing two handsets to be shipped. The business was courteous. tolerant throughout the procedure Given the unusual circumstances, I could understand their need for proof. br>br>To summarize - These handsets were a big hit with us. In addition, 3 or 4 non-locking handsets were ordered for other doors. br>br>These handsets, according to my husband, are a fantastic value for a fantastic product. He'd buy this product again without a doubt.
There was no attention to the customer. The latch strike plate lip is smaller than that of most products made in the United States. The latch will stike/rub on the door casing before hitting the strike plate as a result of this. This is a bad design. Despite the lock's good quality, this makes the overall product unacceptably bad.
Because of Covid, it's extremely difficult to find construction supplies, but I'm desperate to replace the ones in my new home. This was the most affordable option, and it appeared to be the best deal. For a brushed nickel, lever-style faucet, this type has been thoroughly reviewed. style. br>br>I've only installed one so far, and I'm pleasantly surprised at how well it went. A star has been deducted because it requires a little more effort than a name-based system. Although it is a store-bought lever handle, it serves me well. I'll continue to purchase these for the rest of my home.
On both the door and the door jamb, you must MODIFY each Latch area. br>Also, the Door Handle's spring back isn't all that great. br>br>I'd give it a lower rating than 3 stars, but once installed, the sets appear to be solid, even if the handle spring back isn't great. I'm hoping it loosens up a little with time, but only time will tell. br>br>If you have a lot of time to install them, the cost savings might be worthwhile. However, with a total of 10 exterior and interior doors, any and all savings for this house will be wiped out.
I purchased a five-pack of locking handles and a five-pack of non-locking handles. In my home, I redid nine doors. They look great, and they weren't too difficult to put together. My existing doors, which had very old knob sets, presented a challenge. Simply have a small wood chisel on hand in case you need to remove some wood from the frame or door to make these fit properly. It would have sped up the process considerably.
I needed to replace a number of older door handles and wanted to make sure they all looked the same. br>Ordered six keyed handles, two privacy locks, and two standard handles. All of them look the same and work as expected. br>Installation was a breeze, even though some of the holes for the latch assembly had to be enlarged. I discovered that the latch assembly would occasionally jam, and that lubricating the latch assembly and not overtightening the knobs helped to prevent the latch from jamming.
This product's design is particularly appealing to me, as the door handles can be used on either a left or right-hand swinging door. In the past, you had to order door handles that were specific to the door swing. In either case, this door handle is made to be used.
The doorknob had a fantastic appearance. However, three privacy door knobs have failed completely, resulting in someone being locked in a room. In addition, the cover that sits flush against the door's face detaches. We've had four of these cover pop off issues, and while we did replace a lot of knobs throughout the house, I'd say there's a ten percent chance of it happening again. Defect rate of 15 I haven't looked into the knobs' warranty, but the majority of the failures occurred within two to three months of use.
