It measures 9 inches in length and 1 1/4 inches in width when the entry handle is attached. I hope that this information will be helpful.
It's hard for me to figure out what that refers to. In essence, however, it is quite simple to install if you have a drill at home. With this set, I had to drill another hole (7/8") in order to replace a prior set that required one hole to install. The product description stated that I needed to drill another hole. As for me, I think it is a very nice set for a storm door, which performs well and has a nice look.
The likelihood is that it will happen is high. If the holes in the door need to be adjusted, you may need to do so.
This is something we are trying to fix. We plan on having it available by the end of Visit our website to learn more about Ideal Inc.

THERE IS NO LATCH ON THE DOOR. That is silly for you to assume it comes with all the parts you need. However, this is not the case.
It was challenging to locate a replacement for the exterior handle assembly on a ProVia storm door. A storm door was installed approximately 10 years ago, and the locking assembly on the door handle just stopped working. This is amazing, but every door from each manufacturer is unique, and part interchangeability is not possible. It is not possible to provide generic products to meet the needs of these patients. The manufacturer or company that I found was contacted and told me "we are just the manufacturer - we don't sell direct". They suggested me to contact the original distributor. No warranty claim is being made in this instance. What about the original installer? Our first contact was with a hardware assembly dealer and they quoted us $85. The labor to install was $60. There's no need to worry, Amazon's here! This door assembly caught my eye and I ordered it after I read the description. On inspection, it was identical to the Windsor 241 exterior handle assembly at half the cost. There were detailed instructions and every single component that was required to address three sizes of storm doors (depth) included in the hardware package. In just 12 hours, I was able to remove and replace the old door assembly without a hitch, and the measurements matched the drilled openings perfectly.
This item was known to be a returned item when it was purchased. The only part of the handle that was opened (presumably so that it could be tested to see if it would work on the door) when I opened it. Besides those two bags, all others were still sealed at the factory. Despite their age, the handle and parts looked brand new. Despite the fact that the door and frame are pretty old, this handle was the only one with the right number Different screw and lock pin lengths allow you to find the best fit for your door, which was important to ensure correct fit. In addition to this, there are 3 different sizes of striking plates so you can get the right fit. Despite the positive reviews, the only problem we had was the actual locking part of the lock. It was too shallow, so the locking plate didn't reach any area of our door jamb. It was a blessing to find that I had our old locking piece, so I was able to paint it and use that instead. As it happens, we were surprised to receive a brand new, virtually unmarked handle. We were interested in how the "used" handle would look like, but were pleasantly surprised that it was pretty much brand new as well. My recommendation for this handle would definitely be to recommend it to others! If you are not sure whether this is the correct handle for you, please double check the product images.
The handle lasted for about a month and a week before it broke. Amazon has passed the 30-day window for fixing this, so I am not sure what to do. Most likely, the money spent on it will be lost to me. In the event that a new handle-replacement is sent, I will adjust my score, but for right now I will leave it as it is. The item is a complete waste of time. I am very disappointed with this product since it is "Made in U. S. ".
You'll only get to do it if you're lucky. That sounds good. It was a serious oversight for the main plate to intentionally delete the cast thread for the dead bolt. claim that they make it more secure this way, but it is just a storm door and is normally not strong enough to resist a tugging attack. It's very hard to install a threaded casting because it's designed out of the drawing. This is what I have never seen before there are 2 screws that crash into each other. You will have difficulty removing the wood screws if you have existing holes in your door from drilling, so you will be lucky if you can find a virgin door. After a lot of effort, I managed to end up with a 2-way screw coupler that floats inside the door to capture the screws that are facing I can see it as a nice produce if they There is one on the door right In the future, it should be able to hold up. There is nothing better out there at the moment, which is why I recommend buying.
A storm door that I have is a bit thin. I doubt it's more than a 1-inch thick. It is nothing but a flat surface. There were a few screws and square shaft keys that I had to cut down. Forstner bits are not necessary or necessary to install, but you will need an assortment of spade bits, a spade bit, and some spade bits. I love how it looks after installation and how well it functions. The creators went to great lengths to include a lot of spare parts for all different scenarios of installation. It is a very good quality product.
I only used the outdoor handle for two years before it broke. At the thinnest part of the handle, it snapped cleanly off. This appears to be a metal handle made from some porous looking material plated on the outside. It does not seem to be made of solid metal which would prevent it from breaking.
The quality is excellent, the construction is very strong. There is a lot of extra parts available in various sizes, so you can match the door to your needs. It is secure with a deadbolt latch and latches close securely. You did a great job! Pricey, but worth the money!.
