Questions & Answers

Can you tell me how I can install them on the drawer if I need to take them apart?

Both of mine were just received, and I can't separate them Since I have installed drawer slides of many different manufacturers, it is not as if it is difficult or I am a beginner. My fury is growing as I prepare to return them.

Can you tell me how to release the drawer slides so that I can remove the drawer?

A release lever is usually located in the middle of a drawer slide and needs to be pushed up or down (one side moves up, one down) for the drawer to unhinged.

I measured the sides of my cabinets at 22 3/8" - 23" Can you tell me what length slider I should ?

If your cabinet is 22 inches on the inside, then you can use 22 inches. Otherwise, I would use 20 inches

How much is the thickness and width of each ?

In the top part of the kitchen cabinets, we used it from top to bottom (1 13/16"), left to right (9/16") I used it on the side of the left front view of the kitchen cabinets and it fitted perfectly.

I like the slides a lot
5/5

The hole in my wall of an old medicine cabinet will serve as a clever hook for my bathroom renovation. The drawer slides allow me to hang the mirror both on the wall and on the cabinet, so I can use the nook but also conceal it. I'm buying the same slides again for my closet renovation because they work so well. I'm very happy with the outcome.

Installation was easy, and the software worked well

Similarly to any other full-extension slides from any other manufacturer, the Shop Fox guides look, operate, and install the same way. That is to say, they install easily and are a great product. In order for a slide to move freely inside the drawer, it needs to be provided with a space of 1/2" on either side. Again, it applies to all manufacturers. They allow space for drawer clearance on the top and bottom along with 1/8" on each side
They include 12 screws, three on Even though the screws are small, I am always worried if they will hold but I have never had trouble with any drawers In addition to the predrilled screw holes, there are additional holes ready to be installed if necessary. A few of the holes are oblong to allow some movement in the final placement The instructions are a lot of measurements and using a level, etc to install the guides, but I actually found that using a couple of wood blocks of the same size and using them to locate the guides and mark the holes to drill is the most effective and efficient solution (see photo). The first time I push it in, the drawer seems hard at first however, after I get it all the way in, it moves back and forth very easily, and most importantly, it extracts to the full length of the drawer so I can reach it at the back.

This table is sturdy, smooth, and easy to assemble

I think that this slider is great. It was the same/similar one at Lowe's for the same price with free shipping, so I found it to be Specifically, I am using these for the lower cabinet drawers that hold my cast iron pots and pans, and it works well with no sagging or drag, and it has a fairly good catch (but a lot of noise when fully retracted). Anyone who is in need of a solid and smooth drawer guide should check out this item.

It is one of the best I have seen, and at a reasonable price

My take on these drawer slides is that they are high quality for a budget price they are well built, smooth, and cost about 1/4 as much as comparable slides I could find in my local hardware store. You do not need instruction if you have already installed such slides, you only need to know that 1/2" clearance is required between the inside of the cabinet and the outside of the drawer box on each side of the slide (1" final clearance) before installation. It is pretty tight to work with this type of slide, as you know if you have ever installed one. You have a little wiggle room with these slides It is possible that you could have a combined clearance of up to 1 Adding a thin layer of 1/16" or a hair more and they will still function fine. I was making multiple drawers and I created one drawer that had the combined clearance of about 15/16" and the travel of the drawer was just too tight, so I had to remake it. You do also want your drawer sides to be parallel to one another and to the inside of the cabinet, so if you're building your own boxes you'll need to be pretty precise. If you cannot assemble according to the standard, you might be more comfortable with a different style slide. In addition, I want to point out A drawer must be pushed firmly the last 1/4" of its closing for a fixed cabinet. For a freestanding unit, it will require a lot more force Build a nightstand - just like the ones I'm As a result of the force I had to exert, the nightstand tilted back. My solution was to remove the rubber bumpers at the back of the slides and power sanded these down just enough so that there was less force required to close the slide. There is no friction lock between the bumpers and brackets so you could remove the bumpers entirely, and the slides would still operate normally.

It is beyond belief how frustrating this is

A pair of shoes I bought and a pair of sandals I bought This is not the first time I've used Fox slides. According to the description, it appears to be a bought and sold set A copy of the returned item was received A part of the car is bent. My mistake has been corrected. Having said this, the slides have been installed and are ready for use. There will be no closing before 2/3 of the way is reached. It has happened many times that I installed full extension slides, so why don't they close? If you are installing the slider, the little lock mechanism halfway along the slide is not accessible. Using it is only possible to remove a drawer - you cannot reach it to put it back in place. Someone returned a set that FOX sent. This appears to be a set someone screwed up. If your package seems to have been opened before, make sure it hasn't been damaged Then REFUSE it in order to avoid having to deal with junk. Are there any solutions to the blocking issue that prevents these from fully installing? Do you have any ideas? We are two thirds of the way through and the draw will not close I appreciate it.

I like it! It may have been a bit unconventional, but I applied At the bottom, 75" deep, with a butcherblock countertop), I wished the 19" base cabinet drawer tipped out further than the front of the cabinet, so the drawer can be used for a sort of TV tray for dining (I have been working from home since Caronageddon damaged my computers

In a cabinet 24" deep, 24" wide drawer slides are required. In order for these to slide smoothly into the cabinet, I needed to drill, cut, and shape notches on the back of the cabinet. As a result, I now have a sturdy drawer that extends about 6" past the front edge.

In the kitchen, it is very useful
5/5

The replacement undermount drawer slides worked great for me in my kitchen to replace the worn out undermount slides. Due to the drawers originally designed to work with undermount slides, I had to make a wood frame to mount the slides onto and make cuts in the side panels of the cabinet for clearance. I used these slides instead of an undermount slide since one of the quality slides I was looking for was unavailable. There is no flexing at all in these and they slide really well. My only complaint is that they don't all have the same amount of extension, so when the drawer is fully opened, one side stops before the other and the drawer twists slightly sideways. As it turned out, I was not poor at measuring either, I compared two slides and one opened 1/4" wider Although I am pleased with the low price, these are much better than I expected. The broken drawers in my kitchen have now been repaired and my wife is extremely happy!.
