Price manipulation occurs when a company charges nearly $15 per unit and only sells one piece until the customer commits to buying five. Consumers may require two of these, but only on rare occasions will they require all five. I spent $31 on two of them. I could have bought five of them for $44 and saved $8. 80 per unit, but I'm not sure I'd ever need the three spares. These appear to be significantly more durable than the ones I replaced on my entertainment center. The steel backing and large screws, in particular, deserve special attention. I had to use a hammer to drive the plastic slide into the channel, but once it was in place, it fit perfectly and I am confident it will last for as long as I own this piece of furniture.

I'm no furniture repair doctor, and I didn't stay in a Holiday Inn Express last night, but I was able to fix a wonky drawer on an armoire with this kit. The parts are simple to put together and the instructions are simple to follow. It improved the drawer's ability to open and close compared to when it was new. Who knew such a thing as a repair kit existed? I didn't have one until now, but I needed one, and this one was the key to repairing this garage sale find.
