Questions & Answers
Each pair is said to weigh 100 pounds. I'm not sure I'd do that unless I increased the number of screws included in the package. In the bag, there are six per slide (three on each half). For three single screws, that's a lot of weight.
There are no mounting brackets required; all that is required are the screws that are included.
The inside slider alone is 1 inch, and the rollers on the outside are nearly 1 and three-quarters of an inch. one-quarter inch

First and foremost, let me state unequivocally that I DO NOT REVIEW PRODUCTS RECEIVED FROM AMAZON OR ANYTHING ELSE. I'm only doing this because I relied solely on other people's reviews when purchasing drawer slides, and I'd like to repay the favor. So, these aren't bad in any case! I used these to make an 11 drawer dresser, a 5 drawer dresser, and two nightstands, and while they weren't bad, I wouldn't give them a 4 because one of the drawers on my dresser kept sliding out on its own. It's a strange sight to behold, but we put up with it because the price was so low. It's most likely a quality issue rather than an uneven dresser (which was checked), and it should be investigated. Also, after about a month and a half with them, I can say that I like how easy they are to slide in and out, but it makes no sense that this one drawer keeps falling out! br>br>1/8/19 br>br>1/8/19 br>br>1/8/19 br>b Friho reached out to me about my problem with their product, and their representative was very accommodating, offering to send me a replacement set in exchange for a positive review to compensate for the "randomly sliding out" issue. That's fantastic customer service, and it's clear that they stand behind their products' quality. In the future, I would definitely purchase from them! Thank you, Andy! It would be wonderful if all vendors were as responsive as you!.
BUT . As others have stated, some of the bearings had far too much grease in them. My recommendation is to clean out all of the grease with WD40, blow out any excess WD40 with air, wipe down, and allow to dry before installing. Aside from that, I have no complaints and will purchase them again. (I've been making cabinets and custom furniture for 44 years. ) The grease issue is why 4 stars instead of 5 are given.
I used these for a client's kitchen pantry cabinet, which had 13 drawers, and they worked just as well as the more expensive ones from big box stores. These helped me save a lot of money! When purchasing an Amazon warehouse deal, make sure that all of the pieces are present and that each one functions properly. I've recently noticed that warehouse deals aren't as well-controlled as they once were.
These are the ones I'm using in for the more demanding jobs. These are as well-made and operate as smoothly as any other on the market, and the price makes them a great deal. I've been using these for a long time in power tool storage and have found them to be very reliable.
I first purchased ten 14" long pairs in order to create a custom storage unit. The drawers are 26" wide and can hold about 30-pounds each. Each one weighed 40 pounds. This is no problem for these slides; there is some side-to-side sway at full extension, but it is well within my tolerance limits. I bought a second set of ten to finish an 8-foot-long storage unit that also has a lot of weight on it. Again, there are no issues. In conclusion, my opinion is as follows: They offer a price/quality ratio that is unrivaled. br>br>I used a total of 14 pairs - They don't bother me at all. br>br>If you aren't careful when re-arranging your furniture, you might end up with a mess. When reassembling the drawers after unclipping them, be careful not to catch the end of the roller ball cage, as this will deform it and potentially release the ball bearings. If your drawers are difficult to slide after installation, it's most likely because they're too wide. a mistake made by the user br>If you re-slide the drawer after it has been re-slided, If the drawers do not slide all the way back after clipping the slide in, simply press harder and force the drawer all the way back. This is going to get the ball rolling in the right direction. After adjusting the carriage to the proper position, the drawer should slide smoothly. When you unclip the drawer to remove it, this is only necessary on rare occasions. br>br>Not to mention the screws. They're 1/2" particle board screws, which are ideal for drawer boxes with a thickness of 1/2". I only used a tenth of an inch of plywood for this project. 4" (10mm ply) and the screw length was a little too long on some of the boxes, causing them to break through. It was yet another case of user error.
I went with the 20 pack because it seemed like a good deal. In my cabinets, I installed eight drawer slides. Three of the four drawers glided open smoothly, while the fourth did not. I spent three hours trying to figure out why the drawer wouldn't open. I assumed it was too tight, or that it was out of square, but that was not the case. Nothing. After hours of frustration and the removal of the drawer, I discovered that the slide was broken and extremely stiff. Then, when I opened and closed another drawer, it made a lot of noise, which I discovered was caused by a gritty slide that sounded like it had sand stuck in it. It couldn't have been from me because I installed them right after taking them out of the bag. These are decent slides for the price, but they aren't a good deal if the products don't work! So far, I've installed eight, two of which are defective, which isn't a great ratio.
We're in the process of installing sliding drawers in all of our kitchen cabinets, and at $7 a pair, these slides are keeping us on track.
I initially purchased a ten-pack of these and was quite pleased with them. It's strong and simple to put together. There are no issues. I ordered a ten pack the second time: br>br> Only four pairs of shoes were identical to the previous look. Three pairs were of a different type of slide that required more assembly (no instructions were provided), one pair only had the receiver part of the slides, and two pairs were completely missing.
