Questions & Answers

When fully extended, how long is it? Thank you very much. ?

When fully extended, I measured 43" in total length.

Is this a one-sided or a two-sided price?

pair

Is it possible to purchase one or two slides? Is it a set of slides or just one?

by the couple

Is the mount on the side or on the bottom?

I don't see why these couldn't be used as bottom mounts. These are available at "big box" home centers under their own brand, and I intend to use them to mount on the bottom of my cabinet for a pull-out drawer. I'm going to make a trash can out of wood and sort it like I do with cabinet drawers. The tops of these slides will simply be screwed into the "box's" underside. Yes, having these upright on a draw side would be more powerful, but the ones I saw appeared to be quite sturdy, so I'm not concerned about them bending.

Very simple to put together and extremely durable
5/5

As long as you follow the instructions (which I failed to do for the first half of the installation). d'oh! ), the drawer slides are very easy to install. They are also extremely durable. The drawer has no flex when fully extended, unless I lean into it, because I only installed the front and middle screws (the back ones were extremely difficult to reach). The drawer, in my opinion, could easily hold 10 pounds or more. br>br>Here are some ideas/recommendations: 1. br>br> To hold the slides, get a "helping hand" tool. They're a little awkward to hold in one hand while trying to maneuver a screwdriver in the other. I used masking tape, which worked well but had to be reapplied several times. 2. br>br>1. br>br>br>br>br>br Pre- the screw holes should be drilled It significantly simplifies the screw installation process. 3 BR>BR>BR>BR>BR>BR>BR>BR>BR>BR>BR>BR>BR>BR>BR You should also get a screwdriver bit with a strong magnetic field or one with a sleeve to hold the screw in place while you try to fit it into the hole. I struggled for about ten minutes to get the stupid screws to tap. Finally, I gave up and drilled a much larger pilot hole than I had planned. br>br>All of these factors conspired to turn a 5-minute installation into a 30-minute frustration fest. But let me make something very clear. It was MY fault, not the product's, that these flaws existed. I was putting in a custom-built computer system. A 15-year-old desk's drawer was converted into an 11-inch opening. It's not the most straightforward project, but it gets the job done. Now it's time to put in a writing shelf on the other side (!).

Sturdy and simple to set up, but not slow-moving in my experience

closing.   I have face frame cabinets and was concerned that installing these would necessitate the purchase of a separate accessory. These are specifically designed for frameless cabinets, according to the instructions that come with them. However, they worked flawlessly in my system and did not require any additional hardware. Everything went together smoothly after I simply screwed the cabinet side rails to the interior walls of my cabinets and the drawer rails to the drawers. br>br>I'm a big fan of full-length movies. I'd like to extend these rails because I have some drawers with items near the back that were previously difficult or inconvenient to pull out. This is no longer the case. br>br>However, these are not slow-moving in my opinion. close. They allow the drawer to slam shut, just like the old cheapo rails I had before. Please see the video attachment. It's possible that something went wrong during the installation, but I can't think of anything. Rails are placed as far forward as possible inside the cabinets. Because the front of the drawer would collide with the rail if I installed any further forward, the drawer would not close completely.

Other components are required! The installation is still a challenge for me

I realized I needed an extra part after reading the instructions: "For frameless cabinets. " For face- The D806 socket set is required for frame cabinets. " It wasn't mentioned on the website, and as a DIYer, I'm not sure what the difference between a frameless and a face-mounted picture is. cabinet with a frame My kitchen cabinets have a drawer that does not slide easily. br>br>To make matters worse, if you search for D806 or Liberty D806 or Liberty D806 socket set, you will not find it. It was a complete coincidence that I discovered it. It's a Liberty hardware D806SEC-WHITE slide. It is not available on Amazon, but it is available through one of their vendors, but it is not eligible for Prime. I was able to locate them at Home Depot.

Good value for the money; simple to install
5/5

After thirty years of service, the bearing race in the old glides in the center drawer of my office desk broke. I wasn't too disappointed because the old ones didn't extend all the way, making it difficult to reach items in the back of my drawer. These are fantastic. br>br>I really like them. They have a firm close that prevents the drawer from bouncing back, and they are slightly open. They're fairly smooth, and they're just like the ones I replaced. However, I have used drawer glides that were a little smoother but cost five times as much as these, so I won't deduct points for that. br>br>These are fantastic value for money. br>br>The construction appears to be of good quality. The bearing race on my old glides was made of plastic, which eventually wore out and broke. The bearings are held in place by a proper metal race. br>br>The instructions made the installation appear more difficult than it really was. Simply attach one part of the glide to the drawer, ensuring that it is evenly aligned with the drawer's bottom edges and that the front of the glide is butted up against the back of the door front. The outside glides are then installed, the drawer is inserted into the cabinet or desk, and the glide is level and the correct distance from the back is checked. br>br>Speaking of level, I put these in my desk because the floor on which it sits isn't exactly level. As a result, in order for the glides to be parallel to the various parts of the desk, I had to install them with the same amount of "unlevelness" as the desk. It's not a major issue, but it's something to consider.

I don't have much experience with this type of drawer guide, so I don't have anything to compare it to
5/5

I installed them in a workbench where I can store a variety of tools, and I am completely satisfied. The drawers are large, measuring 40 1/2 by 22 inches and ranging in size from 5 1/4 to 8 1/4 inches. They'll be stocked with a variety of tools. At this price of $15, I purchased 8 pairs and will most likely purchase more. xx.

Heavy-duty, with a nice, smooth slide
5/5

The 22" slides were used to make large shop drawers that could hold heavy equipment and tools. The slide was simple to install and allowed for a small amount of slop to accommodate minor tolerance errors. They have a slight detent when fully closed to keep the draw closed, and in my case, they supported a draw that slid all the way out at 22". They only provide 6 screws, three for each side; it would have been nice if they provided some extras because the screws are small and easily lost, and to add some additional support to the slide, which is supposed to hold 100 pounds.
