I ordered 100 8 x 1/2in screws because there were none available. About $7.
If I understand you correctly, this sounds like a do-it-yourself project. plan that is feasible
I considered doing the same thing with my old Craftsman, but the slides are made of bare metal. The issue is that it appears to be a 3/8" (. Between the drawer and the slide mount, there must be 375) inches of clearance. (I could see how difficult it would be to remove that welded side mount plate, but there's also the drawer opening to consider, which has a 3/8" gap on both sides:
This drawer slide does not have a front/back mount. It screws into the cabinet's and drawer's sides. Because you don't have cabinet sides, try bottom-mounted slides or a 1x2 runner between the cabinet's corner posts (if they exist).

Great slide at a great price. These slides are well-made, simple to install, and reasonably priced. For myself and my wife to use, I installed the drawers in slide-out shelves. We are in our late seventies. They perform admirably. Built shelves from common pine, sanded them, and inserted 1/4-inch bottoms into grooved drawer bottoms. The price of birch drawers on the internet is $80. For ten drawers, I spent less than $30 on wood, $19 on plywood bottoms, and $80 on slides and back supports. I used wood L-brackets to install it. Because our kitchen cabinets are made of thin plywood, they have shaped sides. For slide clearance, an inch was left on the drawer sides. The wife (boss) requested that they be left in their natural state. The most difficult aspect of the job is - To install, I had to crawl around on the floor. We discovered items in the kitchen cabinets that we had no idea we had saved.
Although the slides are rated for 100 pounds, they are clearly lighter in weight than the more expensive 100-pound slides. They'll be perfect for my shop drawers, with a maximum weight capacity of 50 pounds per drawer. If you're pushing the 100-pound limit, more expensive slides are recommended. I would purchase this item again.
These were simple to put together and can support a significant amount of weight. They have excellent and extremely smooth bearings. If you're working with 3/4" material, such as MDF or plywood, these screws are a must-have. They tighten up nicely in both materials without stripping (I used a screwdriver to install them).

Review is now complete: These slides perform admirably and at a reasonable price. The review's drawbacks are as follows: They have a greasy/oily texture to them. If you buy them, make sure to clean up or retouch your work right away after you install them because lube residue will remain on your project. br>br>Yes, they don't come with screws, but you can purchase them at any retail store. They just got here. br>br> We'll see how things go.
WHY DID I NOT ORDER THESE YEARS AHEAD OF TIME? We had them installed by a handyman for $40 - He didn't appear to be having any difficulties finishing the job. Get them now - you owe it to yourself. You'll be glad you took the time to do so.
They're exactly what I was looking for: quiet, sturdy, and silky smooth drawer glides. I used them to make 18 brand-new, under-the-radar outfits. I'm addicted to opening and closing drawers on the counter, and I could do it all day! These Promark glides are absolutely incredible. I'll be rebuilding the drawer boxes for the original cabinet drawers soon, and they'll be just as nice. br>After I installed them, my son needed to add some pull-out drawers. pointing to the cabinets in his kitchen and asking for my advice. He purchased a few and is equally pleased with them. These are something that should be in every kitchen!.
We were a little concerned about the price per piece, but we are very happy with the product and have replaced all of our kitchen drawer glides with these. They glide smoothly and are sturdy enough to support a lot of weight. For years to come, I'm looking forward to a nice smooth glide!.
These were purchased to improve the slides on IKEA file cabinets. Installation was a little more difficult due to the pre-assembled cabinets (agility comes in handy!). ), but it was well worth the effort. Just make sure the front of the slide is in the same place as the originals. Heavy drawers should not distort or cause the moving slide to go off track because these are much heavier.
