These are, without a doubt, heavy-duty. However, after reading several reviews about defective products, I decided to order just one pair to see if they would work for my needs. As I previously stated, they appear to be powerful at first glance. I'm a little worried about how much plastic I see in the long run. Unfortunately, one of the pairs I ordered arrived damaged, as shown in the photos. On the back of the left rail, there is a broken adjuster. When I removed the plastic from the rails, one small piece of the packaging fell out. The fact that the other pieces were missing indicates that it had been damaged during the wrapping process. As a result, when you get it, inspect it thoroughly. In addition, there are no screws or instructions. The rails are all you get. On the internet, you can find the (extremely complicated) instructions.

The installation of these has been a complete nightmare that has dragged on for weeks. The first order arrived as an empty box with a large hole at the bottom. UPS, you've done a fantastic job. br>Didn't anyone notice? Amazon promptly replaced the item. br>To make sure we had the right components for our cabinet, we watched a dozen YouTube videos and downloaded spreadsheets from the Blum website. You'll have to order everything you'll need separately, so good luck figuring that out. We discovered too late that our pair of slides did not even match. Yes, we received two different types of slides (perhaps one is an older model?). ), which only added to my dissatisfaction. I don't blame Blum for this, but whoever put these together for sale did a poor job. I would have returned them and tried again, but by the time we realized it, the return window had closed. To make these work, we had to completely rebuild a drawer from the ground up. So we now have one smooth fancy drawer in our kitchen, but we won't be ordering any more of these. br>While it appears that many people enjoy them and have had no issues with them, I have to say that this is the worst DIY project I have ever attempted!.

I've been kneeling on the cold kitchen floor for the past 15 years. I'm looking in the lower cabinet for a tupperware lid that will fit the container. I have sore knees and back after rummaging for ten minutes. and, of course, come up short. As a result, I built my own shelves using these slides to create slide out shelves. I'm still looking for the right tops and bottoms for my containers. At the very least, I won't have to get down on my knees. br>br>This slide kit is a dream to use; it's smooth and quiet. For three cabinets, I created six shelves. I used 1/2" plywood ($34/4x8 sheet), which was of good quality. As a result, each cabinet cost about $75. I spent a lot of time designing the shelves because I was concerned about the shelves' narrow tolerances. The first time around, all six shelves fit perfectly, so perhaps the tolerances aren't as tight as I thought. br>br>One of the doors on my cabinets has a center post, which I cut out and attached. I was able to have full-width shelves as a result of this. The slides are capable of supporting up to 100 pounds. The majority of shelves have between 35 and 50 items on them. 75 lbs. One shelf (pots/pans) is likely to hold over 100 pounds. I'm not sure how long this shelf will last because it moves a little slower than the others. Make sure the slides are leveled so they slide out as easily as they slide back in. The order for the rear mount brackets was also an annoyance: br>br> If you purchase a single slide kit, you will receive both the right and left slides. You get both the right and left locks when you order one "locking device. " If you order only one rear mount, you will receive a discount. You will receive ONE rear mount (shipping will cost approximately $6 per order)!.

I changed out some of the old, non-functioning parts. It was incredibly simple to make soft closing Blum slides with these Blum soft closing. I purchased only the "runner pair" and removed the old ones, leaving the cabinet bracket and drawer locking mechanisms in place. The new soft close slides were a perfect fit and used the same screw holes as the old ones. Each drawer took approximately 5 minutes to complete.

We should have paid him to make a new frame, he said. His cabinet doors, on the other hand, were not properly shut. So I went out and purchased Blum hinges, and voila, the doors were now perfectly closed. I did the same thing with the Blum slides, and we've got a winner! The drawers that previously refused to close due to a "bad" frame now do so perfectly. I installed them myself, despite the fact that I am not a carpenter. Our cabinet guy turned out to be a complete liar, and Blum produces excellent products.

Although the product is satisfactory, the shipping experience was abysmal. br>br>I purchased this to replace a broken rail. It came in a box that was far too big, had no packing, and appeared to have been through the wringer, so it's no surprise that the plastic adjustment tabs on both rails were broken. This would have been a five-star review if the pieces had arrived undamaged. It gets the second star because I was able to adjust them with pliers before installing them, so it wasn't a total waste of time.

After a little trial and error to figure out the best placement, installation was a breeze. The installation was delayed for a few days while I waited for the locking devices to arrive, but they work perfectly now that I have all of the parts and have installed the slides.

In my home, I've used Blum BlueMotion slides for pullout drawers and have been very pleased with how well they've performed. This particular slide was installed beneath my kitchen sink and worked flawlessly.
