These side mount sliders appealed to me because they were simple to install. They are not in the least bit "simple. " The ball bearings on some of these sliders would bunch up and make it difficult to roll them with the slider. After the sliders were installed, a number of them lost their bearing. Although the price was reasonable, the quality of the product was poor. The quality isn't up to par. The ball bearing bracket is a complete waste of time. The ball bearings fall right through the bracket holes, bunch up, and then fall out. This is the first time I've ever had so many sliders that I consider useless. Now I'll have to replace them at a higher cost, but I'm not going to buy them from this seller again. There's nothing wrong with the vendor. He simply sells a shoddy product; this is what I get for purchasing Chinese-made goods! I'd gladly pay more for products made in the United States of America. The slider in the photo was simply removed from its packaging and mounted to the drawer. The ball bearing bracket is bent, as can be seen. I'll try to fix it, but it shouldn't be necessary. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND AMAZON'S SALE OF POOR QUALITY PRODUCTS TO ANYONE.
The product arrived on time and was of the same high quality as slides I'd bought in individual sets from big box stores for 2 to 3 times the price (per pair). I'll buy these again for my next project without a doubt.
These were extremely successful. In the shop, I was putting together a set of drawers for a cabinet. These are at least as nice as the ones I can get locally at Home Depot for a quarter of the price, and they're sturdy and smooth. If you don't already have a method for mounting them, instructions are included. I tried their method on one drawer and it worked fine; however, I have a faster method that I used for the remaining six drawers. I still have a few sets left for my next project, but if I needed more, I would buy these again.
For the open space in my kitchen, I built a pull-out shelf. They're perfect for full extension. I've got some other projects in the works, but I haven't gotten around to them yet. br>The packaging was pretty messed up when I got it (late), but that's something I'm going to blame on the distributor rather than the seller. If you need a large number of slides, this is a good price.
It was difficult to get things out of the back, so I decided to build some pullouts, which I am glad I did. These full pullout slides cost half as much as those found at HD and Lowes. 10 20 inch and 10 22 inch TVs, as well as back brackets, were purchased. I can't believe how good these are for the price. They are simple to set up and operate without a hitch. It took 5 days for the package to arrive, but it was well worth the wait.
The Black roller slides on the dresser and cabinet I received were difficult to open and close. These 14-inch sliding drawer slides with ball bearings were a huge improvement. There were no loose bearings, and only one of them caused the drawer to stick slightly. As a result, I'm content and can put a lot more weight in my drawers.
The sliders function properly, but they do not appear to be strong enough to support 100 pounds when fully extended. The most common gripe: The screws that come with them are of poor quality and easily break. Different screws should be used.
The only complaint I have is that when it arrived, the cheap Chinese box had ripped open and screws were spilling out. br>It's a good idea to put it in a better box before shipping it, or tape all of the corners and flaps together to prevent it from tearing open and spilling out.
