This towel holder doesn't appear to be made of plastic, in my opinion. If you decide to purchase an oil-rubbed bronze fixture, then the entire fixture will be made of oil-rubbed bronze This bronze-colored metal has a light rubbed finish. Moreover, I purchased my towel ring in brushed nickel, which matches the bathroom fixture as a whole. The nice appearance of this building is only part of the story. There's a mundane, but essential wall-decal that makes it all come together The product comes with a mounting system Moen designed specifically for it. There is a sheetrock mounting system It will be easier to write into a plastic-coated stud than a wooden one) Insert provided by Moen for the hole. Immediately after drilling into the sheetrock, you collapse the wings of the plastic insert, gently tap it into the hole, and then use a small lever (also included) to "activate" the insert's wings so that they will brace the sheetrock. You might think that sounds complicated, but if you follow the directions, you will get it in no time at all. The insert's bracing wings click into place when you activate them, assuring you that the hole insert is ready to receive the screw that holds the towel ring in place. As a result, it is much more secure, durable and reliable The most durable sheetrock out there - The mounting solution is better than what you'll find in a similar price range The price could be even higher - Products such as those manufactured by Design House, for example.
We have other Moen oiled bronze fixtures in our new home that match this one perfectly. There is a double sink in the master bath, but there is only one towel ring by the second sink, so I needed a second one there. In my local home improvement mega store, the towels rings were sold for much more than the name brands. This towel rack does not bang against the wall when I pull it off, as the one which the builder installed did. All the wall mounted items I have installed are attached to the wall by a back plate. After that, I must attach the item to the back plate by tightening a tiny set screw that is small and pointy at one end with a tiny screwdriver. It is very frustrating and does not work very well. A steel rod is attached to the back of this towel ring, and you slide the towel ring onto the rod. A hex-head screw is attached to the bottom of the rod There is a key screw that can be torqued out of the carp. This is a very sturdy thing. My StudPop helped me locate a stud, and the back plate was secured to the stud with screws, so this bad boy stays put no matter what.
While all the other pieces have the copper highlights, this piece looks like nothing more than wrought iron. I ordered this to match several other pieces of new hardware for our bathroom (lights, cabinet door pulls, hinges, knobs), but it doesn't quite match. I always loved Moen products, and I have a new oil-rubbed bronze Moen faucet, so this was a total disappointment.
I was on here looking for a replacement for the hand towel rack I bought less than three years ago, because the one I had just fell apart, and I came across this listing, which is actually the same hand towel rack I purchased then. During the three years I used this towel rack, it worked perfectly. Installation was simple and the circle functioned as it should have done, until one day the bronze portion of the circle simply fell off. My computer will not turn on no matter what I do, and I am unable to get it to work again. So, I guess. Get this hand towel rack if you want a decent hand towel rack for almost three years and a surprise one morning.
Installation suggestion house, or plan to in the future, go through the house and pick the best spots to install towel rings, TP holders, robe hooks, etc. , and have your framers place blocks where you will install these items. Then you don't have to use those cheap plastic sheetrock anchors that will never hold, and you will not have to limit your choice to where It gives you a large area to mount them exactly where you want them. I marked the studs with a magic marker everywhere I wanted them to be mounted. You talk about sturdy, these things aren't coming out of the wall even when the kids are standing on them. Be sure to keep a notebook for measurements in each room so you know where the blocks are Keep an eye on the future as well. In the bathroom wall, I put blocks so that I could hang robe hooks for the kids. I put blocks a foot up in the wall for the time when they will be bigger so that I can move their robe hooks upward. These towel rings are part of the Danbury line by Moen, which includes robe hooks, towel bars, tp holders and many more. The quality of all of them is excellent. Bathroom hardware that matches so well fits so well together, and if installed correctly is really built to last! I would highly recommend this product!.
Designed with a strong mounting system. To make my new bathroom look more stunning, I bought a number of Moen fixtures A towel bar, hook, towel ring, etc. , all oil rubbed bronze to match the other fixtures in the bathroom. My first series of Moen towel bars and related items was purchased and installed this week. After previous experiences with other names brands that I have only heard good things about, I am skeptical about the mounting design. The Moen products we received were a real pleasure to work with!
Like most bathroom hardware makers these days, Moen also includes small set screws in their designs However, I enjoy using the software a lot more than others I have used. It is easy to adjust the set screw once it has been set, and it remains in place after it is. The fixtures are not loose or wobbly after installation, unlike those made by others. hardware for mounting the screen on the wall is very well made. They are much better than the The design is very sturdy, and it is well constructed The wall mount is built so that there is only one correct way to install it, and the piece that includes the visible fixture is very sturdy and square. The only partially open ring design I prefer is the one offered by Moen, but this design is not available However, I purchased anyway, and I am completely satisfied with the products they offer, so I can't complain about it since it is something personal.
Compared to the builder grade towel holder I replaced, I really like this one. It feels as though the metal on this is of good quality, and it is heavy as well. There's something really elegant about the design and it's also brushed nickel like all of the other As well as its length, I also like how far it sticks out from the wall. The situation is not negative in any way. As a recommendation, I would say.
A beautiful towel ring that is as functional as it is beautiful. Moreover, it is designed in such a way that it holds the towel out from the wall just enough so that water does not accumulate all over it. Solidly attached to the wall, it goes in to the wall. Towel holders like this one are highly recommended.
